This a review of Madeline Caudiano, realtor at this agency and my former landlord. Do not get involved as a client or a tenant. I lived in her and her husbands home for 5 years as a quiet, clean tenant who paid rent on time month to month, paid through all of Covid. As a realtor and landlord both herself and her husband should know the rules better than anyone, yet abused that upon my moving out. There Was NO WRITTEN LEASE AGREEMENT. Upon moving I respectfully spackled any holes in the walls and left their apartment in better condition than I found it which was unpainted with grease covered cabinets and a broken window pane that fell at my face. She and her husband treated myself and boyfriend like trash telling us to go "F" our selves and lied that my father didn't paint the apartment. They denied full security deposit over normal wear and tear, a few snapped slats on OLD PLASTIC BLINDS, an 8 dollar outlet cover and with held 175 CLEANING FEE UNLAWFULLY AS NO AGREEMENT WAS SIGNED. They are not allowed to do that according to NY law especially since the place was not in any worse condition than first found.If she takes petty cash and lies over this then dont use her for a realtor and dont trust either as landlords. Look elsewhere.

Incompetent agents. No idea how to price your property, will instead look at you to do it. After a single open house, they'll want to drop the listing price by $40k. (Maybe this was "buying a listing"?)They will extol the beauty of your apartment that will no doubt sell immediately, then a month and a half into the contract they'll say you have to redo your whole kitchen. Two months into the process they'll bring in a staging agent. Then they'll have the nerve to blame YOU for failure to sell, even though you accept an offer that was below what they said would be the minimum we should accept. (offer later retracted)Don't be jerked around by this agency.

FACTS: I visited 3 properties with Mr. Jeffrey DeAngelo. I made an offer on the 3rd property & the seller accepted it. So, my husband paid for a home inspection ($375). 1 day later, we were informed we lost the property. My question is why the agent didn't inform us about the possibility to lose the property after the inspection?

My family have been house hunting in the Bay Ridge for a couple of months at this point and by far my worst experiences have been with agents grom this agency. The first one was an open house that i was turned away from before it ended being told that they had enough people come by. The second was today where the lady was extremely off putting, rushing us through the house and down right nasty when we told her that we had an agent of our own. I will be very hesitant to visit an open house by remax ever again
