The two ladies that work here are absolute angels - so kind, caring and experienced.
I feel so sorry for all the abuse they receive from frustrated patients - YES there is a long wait (and expect 45-60mins even with an appointment - bring a book) because QUEST over schedule the appointments. They need more staff or need to sort their system out.
It’s not the fault of the phlebotomists - please be kind to them, they are doing their job - they have to do all the admin side too which takes time.
Also don’t forget to bring a physical card to pay (no Apple Pay!)

8:20 appointment served at 8:40. Kind of acceptable as they have 3 people working here. My blood was drawn very professionally.

Waited 1h30 for our appointment for my 1yr old due to the system allowing for too many appointments to be booked without the staff being able to manage it. However, the staff were very lovely and managed my temper well (sorry but thank you for being patient with me). They handled my son very well and the procedure was very quick. The issue is the booking system, not the staff who were very sweet and adept at what they do.

The longest wait time even with appointment. My advice: get the first appointment of the day, or go somewhere else.

Brought in our 2 year old to get blood drawn and the technician was absolutely phenomenal. I wish I knew her name. She deserves an award.

Avoid! Terrible wait times and bad customer experience. One star only because I wasn't actually able to get my blood drawn here, so can't speak to that, but can't imagine it would have been good. When I walked in everyone in the waiting room seemed extremely angry and annoyed- I would soon find out why. I booked online the day before and arrived a bit early. I then waited 30 minutes past my appointment time only to be told the doctor didn't send my blood work orders. I called the doc and had them faxed and was told I had to go back out to the waiting room and lose my spot in line. There is no receptionist, so I couldn't ask anyone the status. No one ever came to let me know the orders didn't come through on the fax. I tried to call this Quest location since I had no way to talk to the staff there and all the options on their phone tree lead to you being hung up on with no ability to talk to a person. I had to wait until someone else came out from the blood draw area to speak to a staff member. I was there for over an hour before I gave up because I couldn't be away from work indefinitely. This is the kind of maddening place that makes everyone hate the health care system. A lot of this is due to Quest clearly making insane choices to save money, at patient expense. So, I recognize some things were not necessarily the fault of the staff, but they certainly didn't seem to care at all or do anything to mitigate these bad systemic issues. Go to Northwell health lab (which is nearby and a dream in comparison) or really literally anywhere else.

Best Quest I have been to in NYC. The phlebotomists are extremely attentive and clean with their job. I’m never left with bruising or pain around the injection site after my tests. They’re extremely friendly and make the entire experience comfortable.

I feel that everyone there is accurate friendly and Joanne has always been especially helpful I love this location. Very friendly and responsible I recommend this quest diagnostic to anybody in Brooklyn

Joanna is an angel sent from heaven. Brought my son to numerous places to get his blood taken and they could not locate his veins. My doctor told me to come here and Joanna checked both of his arms and was able to poke him once and got it. My son is also autistic so it was already hell to get him to walk in but she literally was so gentle, friendly and just amazing! I wanted to hug her when she got done. My son walked out happy and is no longer traumatized by getting his blood taken. Anytime we need his blood taken we will be coming here. Thank you Joanna!

If I could give them negative stars I would. Location is old & grungy. Real issue is the inability to reach a human being by phone. Everything is automated & then, after playing press 3, press 5, press 2 for several minutes, the system hangs up on you. It is unconscionable

Not hygenic. But even worse: The lady forgot half of the Lab order and I had to visit another Lab to get the rest of the order done. Regretable that the only remaining Lab in the neighborhood is that bad.
