Great atmosphere, better machines, more machines (especially smith and leg press) and that massage chair is AMAZING! If I lived closer this would be my go to location.

Please put good ventilation on the ground floor where the bathrooms are, the bad smell right now in summer is unbearable and getting worse... Very unpleasant.

Great place to workout, staff is always wiping and cleaning the machines. The environment is always good. Great place for both beginners and veterans. Someone posted something about the AC not working. I've never had an issue with the climate. I go to the gym to purposely sweat. Either way it's a great place to workout!

They like to push over younger people they know they can take advantage of, They took out $50.00 from my account even though i went into the club and cancelled my membership.The lady Brenda I was speaking to i asked to cancel my account and instead she froze it and kept my membership active for them to continue to take out the money from my account! That was my $50.00 to hold me for this week. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

This gym has a few systemic issues that are not being addressed:
1) On any rainy day with a heavy down pour; areas throughout the gym are leaking/dripping water on members and also on equipment. This has caused treadmills and other equipment to be unplugged and unusable. Why won’t the franchise owner of this gym pay for rain/weather proofing their business? It’s bewildering. Also, when these rain days happens - the elevator is usually broken/shut off and the AC is also turned off. There seems to be some very serious electrical wiring issues going on when it rains. Aside from the AC breaking/being turned off when it’s rains - the AC is generally not on often on very hot and humid days. This issue has been going on for at least a couple of years.
2) Machines broken for weeks and sometimes months on end. This gym is usually very busy and it’s a competition to get the machine you need. Having out of order machines that linger in this state of disrepair is a disservice to the people who’ve paid their hard earned money to be a member of this gym.
3) There are some serious issues with the staff being present throughout the gym, plus cleanliness concerns. A few of the people who work here seem to be doing a great job and address any urgent concerns I’ve had. There are some issues with maintaining a clean environment especially in the bathrooms. They don’t seem to be cleaned frequently enough, we’ve seen water bugs, and furthermore staff has been slacking when it comes to refilling paper towels and cleaning supplies prior to being asked to do so. It seems like many of the staff are more focused on spending time scrolling on their phones than actually attending to the needs of the gym goers.
This review may be critical, but as someone who is frequently at this gym location, I’d be happy to update this review if any of these concerns are addressed.

Second Rating: The outside heat and humidity is way cooler air than in the gym. As soon as you walk in you feel the difference in temp. Male staff is friendly while female staff is unfriendly.
First Rating: It is always so h t in the Duffield gym. They don’t turn the air on no matter how many times you request for air. Would not recommend the gym. They have millions to pay for ads with Megan the Stallion with leaks literally everywhere on each floor. Do better Planet Fitness Duffield.
