I found this spot while wandering in bushwick. The food was great and the service was fabulous.I definitely recommend trying it if you are in the area.
This busy Bushwick staple opened in 2015 as a humble, juice bar and cafe but that seems like a long time ago. Over the years, Pitanga has grown into a bustling hot spot for brunches, happy hour cocktails and an ever-expanding dinner menu. Pitanga also features a bakery and its own single-origin, Brazilian coffee line. Açai bowls, brunch specials and the freshest juices by day with cocktails, a carefully curated wine list and tasty bites by night.
Brunch is available everyday with happy hours and dinner featured Wednesday through Sunday. The cafe portion of Pitanga closes at 4pm with no laptops after 5pm. Stay for the generous happy hour specials and the Brazilian-inspired dinner menu. There is even live music on some nights.
