Very sad I have to write this review, I went in on Monday and dealt with the lady who ran the store who was so sweet and helped me with everything with patience and I ended up making a decent sized purchase… I go back 2 days later and I dealt with her husband. I was looking at some cards in the case that I was thinking of buying, he stood over me like a hawk. After less than 10 minutes of looking and as I was finalizing my decision he began to get nasty with me saying I was touching everything. Yes I was touching a lot of stuff because THERE WAS A LOT I WAS LOOKING TO BUY. Along with this everything was buried under other things in that case. Juts a miserable old man. Very sad because his wife was lovely. Will not be retuning!

Always a favorite! Quintessential store for all your comic book, graphic novel, MTG, etc, etc needs. My kids would never leave this place if I didn't put a time limit on it. Thank goodness there is a Ricky's next door so I can shop. There's always something they "need" at Forbidden Planet, so they always have there personal funds from babysitting (the teen) and cat sitting (the elementary schooler) on them.

Nicest people I ever met, massive collection of marvel comic. Some are rare comics, I one time found a marvel x issue 5 there. Amazing people.

Bella and Alex are old school collectors and sellers, they have a lot of a lot of memoblia, if one becomes a regular and they become familiar with you, they definitely will give discounts, only drawback is they donot except credit cards- debit cards, or any online apps, one has to have cash for purchases.

One of the best experiences I've had at a comic book shop. A huge amount of old comics and back issues. Could spend hours in here searching since they have so much. Definitely check it out!

This is your typical mom's and pops shop. It's a gem for those seeking 80's and 90's sports cards. Though you won't find any super priced cards here, you may be able to complete those 80's and 90's decks that you have been waiting to complete! Ohh! I originally failed to mention that this is comics Heaven. There are so many comics!! You can spend hours at this small shop. Go shop here! Just remember to bring cash. No credit cards accepted. Let's keep this store alive!

Man this place is a throwback to the early 80s great selection of comics the old style mom and pop shop run by an elderly couple and they know comics ! come in I'm sure you find something you like if looking for new books call ahead and they'll hold ya books 5 stars because we'll this a throwback gem ! it ain't Midtown Comics ..but it's a walk into the past !

I used to shop for comics here as a teen in the mid 80's thru early 90's. I came back for the memories and it felt good to see the original owners and to walk out with a 1971 Wilt Chamberlain Topps card and a 1972 Bob Love Topps card graded 7. Also got a #1 issue brand new comic for the nostalgia and who knows, there was only one copy left.
