The place is infested. Maybe they changed it now, but it was infested and the health department was called multiple times. I was also a part of the team to help clean the place and the higher-ups didn’t do anything about it after he fired our general manager bc she whistle blowed on the company They then decided to fix it after firing her, the funny thing about it is ,I actually like the job,your Promoting new items to customers and actually helping them, but I end up hurting myself at the job having to go to 3 hospitals for lacerations in my eye Because of the mouse, infest station, and on the cleanliness of the store.I got all my paperwork to prove this and not one of them decided to call and see if I was all right if you just look for a dead end job just to make some money and leave this is the perfect place for you. My position was sales specialist and the crazy part is they just decided to make it up in the system I was supposed to become manager because of how well I was doing and I did the certifications and I end up doing two of them the regional manager said to stop doing them I was invested,I would’ve had all of them done
That means more pay. They don’t value the workers, and I just can’t be a part of a company like that. The only thing they care about is making money off people not building relationships, and actually solving a problem with there pets. That’s why I decided to quit. However, if you decide to go, just remember this, you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. I wish you the best.

Love the new renovated petco, it's fully stocked, clean and spacious but the staffs not so much. Staff was rude, unfriendly and seems to hate dogs...

;; this is like my go to spot to pick stuff up when my normal packages are running late like a specific example I feed falcons and mockingbirds on my windowsill every morning and I buy worms in bulk and sometimes they don’t get there on time and Petco is just a few blocks away for me to go and buy some super worms for my little bird friends

Great place, very caring staff, I adopted a cat and they gave me a pet carrier and they paid for an Uber so I didn't have to take the train, I was thoroughly vetted and they called afterwards to see how things were going, great place, I highly recommend union Square petco
