What is happening to your Brooklyn Petco's? Who's running them? I used to love to go to Sunset Park after my Costco visits. There was a lovely Manager there, Julia? I think, who was professional, courteous and kind. Now there's chaos. Rude management and staff. Everyone is too busy to help you. I just had Gateway botch a "same day delivery" that was ordered yesterday and I had to call the customer service number yesterday and again today, just for them to tell me, that the items haven't even been picked by the store yet. Needless to say I canceled the order. Time is money. And you have now wasted mine. I wonder how long it would have continued, without any updates or delivery.. It's sad. Used to be a great chain.

Very poor customer service .. the fish department is a disaster always a problem to get fish and this female that works there always have an attitude will never go back to this location

At least, for the first part, we expected a little bit more with hands on. But it turned out to be that it was more of a meet and greet kind of deal. For $149 I feel as if I wasted a first session because my dog is still pissing in the house

I went to purchase cat litter. There wasnt a good selection to choose from. Seems they were out of items they normally have. The liter I chose weighed 30lbs & I wanted 2, but there were no carts in sight. I had to drag one along with some food in a basket. My 12 year old had to struggle with the other. No one offered help to my car which was in the 1st spot, directly across the street. This was definitely not a good experience...

We went to book an appointment for grooming, the girl in front desk was nice to us and she was doing her best for put an appointment as soon she can, but it was unpleasant see how another girl was mean to her because she was putting us first instead of solve whatever the other girl needs. The service was good on the next day, my dog services was good, priced because it was the first time but we were happy with the result.

My husband and I brought our dog to this Petco location today for a grooming appointment and unfortunately had a less than pleasant experience. Our appointment was scheduled for 3:45 however we arrived at 3:52. Upon walking in our groomer Alicia was reluctant to speak with my husband and I. She stared us down for approximately two minutes before sending her coworker out to assist us. We explained to the Coworker that we were there to have our dog groomed. The Coworker walked back in and told Alicia why we were there to which she responded she could not take us because we were seven minutes late and she was in the process of grooming, a big dog. I am a returning customer to Petco and in few instances have been late however, I’ve never been turned away, especially for being less than 10 minutes late. My husband and I decided that we would rebook and come again another day. When I got to the car, the situation did not sit right with me. Therefore, my husband walked back into the store and requested to speak with a manager. Turns out Alicia and her coworker were in a dispute about the situation that had just occurred. When my husband walked in he saw Alicia yelling and screaming at her coworker in the presence of the manager about what had transpired. Alicia could also be seen aggressively shaving the dog she was grooming at the time while screaming her coworker. The manager walked out to address my husband and explained we came in at 4:00 which is why they couldn’t take us however that was not the case. Alicia lied to her manager about our arrival time and then continued to scream and yell while manhandling the dog she was grooming. The manager did try to reconcile the situation by offering to take our dog to be groomed however, after seeing how Alicia was handing the dog she was in the process of grooming while upset, and how rude she’d been throughout this whole situation we decided to take out business elsewhere. I understand we all have bad days but this women’s behavior was unacceptable and furthermore her behavior towards the dog she was grooming was disgusting. The poor dog did not deserve to have to deal with the brunt of her anger. Thank you to the manager and the coworker for being so polite and trying to remedy the situation. I hope Alicia gets the proper training needed in the future to better deal with customers and their pets.

My dog was cut during a grooming session. The groomer didn’t follow protocol. The session wasn’t completed. Petco hasn’t responded to my complaints or have they tried to rectify the situation at all. The just keep taking my vital care payments. They are showing that they don’t care about the customer
