Both my dog and I love this vet! They are so welcoming, organized and informative. I have two cats as well and I will be switching them from my old vet to this one when they are due for their next checkup. This vet came highly recommended to me by multiple sources and I highly recommend them as well! - Kaitlin & Lucy

Big fan of this place! I've had appointments with all 3 of the vets here at some point (Dr. Szacki, Dr. Ozog and Dr. Murphy) and they've all been wonderful, as have the vet techs and reception. The great service doesn't seem to have come at the price of affordability, as they're the most cost-effective vet I've been to in a while - I believe visits are around $85. I've generally been able to find appointments fairly soon, and being flexible about which vet I see makes that even easier. Great group of folks!

Great Staff-Very caring and professional. My cat was sick and had was not doing well for weeks after care of another vet. . They walked me through all treatment options and never pressured me into any unneeded treatments. I Made the difficult choice to put him asleep and they were most compassionate and sensitive. Glad Park Slope Vet Center was there to assist during this difficult time.

The doctor was kind and listened to my concerns!! Very expensive for a short visit. Wait time a bit long, appointment started 25 min after time slot. Front desk staff was rude when I was asking for simple things, such as additional costs and itemized receipt. This does not make you feel good after spending $400-500. Perhaps she was having an off day.

Excessive charges/visits, pushing products and services you do not need, very judgmental doctor when I explained that the products were expensive, unresponsive to messages and a very rude customer support person. I had a thorough annual well visit a few months and later requested medication. They were going to charge me an $85 consultation to discuss the medication. I left Prospect Park Animal Clinic after years with other pets. I thought I would try this place because PPAC practice has gotten hard to schedule with all the pandemic puppies and this place is closer to home. I went running back to PPAC and will not leave again!

The vets and staff here are great. It’s easy to get an appointment and they’ve been so helpful navigating the health needs of my aging dog.

I have a LOT of great things to say about this place!!!!!! I just moved to Park Slope with my dog reactive Bully mix when he found himself with a bad neck injury. I accidentally showed up to this vet office for my appointment not realizing I went to the wrong place. HOWEVER, everything happens for a reason. They got me in right away and I have never felt so taken care of by a vet before! They were understanding of my dog's reactivity and let us chill in an empty room, they did not overbill me at all, they answered all of my questions and even helped me get him medicated wipes for a separate issue he was having. They did not try to upsell me (which makes me want to spend all of my money there LOL), they genuinely cared about my dogs health, they performed the exam in front of me, and spoke to me without judgement. I have never had a positive vet experience before this and I have had dogs my entire life. I just took my baby in yesterday and he's already improved so much in 24 hours and I am just so thankful for their help. I cannot recommend this place enough! I know going through all of these reviews trying to find somewhere to take your baby when they're sick is overwhelming and I hope this review helps you make the right choice! I look forward to going back here for any of my pets health needs moving forward!

I have been taking my dog to this amazing vet for over 11 years and I have only had the greatest experiences. Dr. Szacki is intelligent, compassionate, thoughtful and honest in her treatments, recommendations and diagnoses and the other vets in the practice also provide this high level of care. Staff is kind and efficient and I always feel like my pup is in safe and caring hands here.

Park Slope Vet is a wonderful place to bring your pets. Very caring staff from the moment you walk in. You can tell that everyone at the center loves animals. Park Slope Vets is very well run and professional. My vet, Dr. Szacki, is excellent. She has been caring for my cat for over 10 years. She has also helped me when I've brought in feral cats. She is kind and great at what she does.

All of our resident cats and many, many of our rescues go to PSVC because we absolutely adore them. The staff and vets have excellent bedside manner and make sure that all animals feel as safe and comfortable as possible. Dr. Szacki is truly a cat whisperer and has taken exceptional care of our babies and in the process has helped us become better cat "parents". We are always presented with as many options as possible and are able to discuss everything and ask questions of the vets. We are so grateful for their attentive care, calm environment, timeliness for appointments, and for helping us with our neediest cats.

The office is staffed by sweet professional techs and veterinarians who treat their furry pets with loving care. My only issue with them is that they are not open weekends and they recommend seeking emergency care if your pet experiences worsening symptoms, but they did not specify a referred emergency service provider in the neighborhood. They do however have after 5 pm hours for working pet parents. Luckily the treatment cat received last time worked, he just needed anti-nausea and fluid and a B-12 shot, and his condition worked almost immediately. He was back to normal after a few days, and is doing well.
