Most horrendous food I've ever eaten from. Their food seems to be very old and at one point it got me sick. Even worse UPS Access Point too. If you value your health and packages, just try some place else instead.

The reason I came to the store is because of the good reviews shown on yelp. So I decided to give it a try. However, it was a bad experience over all. Not only overprice item and mediocre food, but people who worked there are unfriendly. I don't know if the person at the counter was the owner or just a staff member. He was extremely rude. Also, he makes fun of my ethnicity with another customer as soon as I walked. The fact that he thinks it is funny to called slurs of people's ethnicity really sickens me. I would rather spend my money some where else.

**The owners of this store has sent me many racist and violent threats after posting this review.** These people are scheming thieves and liars. Their names are Macho and Charlie. They are involved in a few businesses: this "pal supermarket"; "pal's pet food and grooming store", among others. I worked for them and they refused to pay me. They took advantage of a college student desperate to find a job. They treat their employees horribly. I suggest current and future customers to not spend your hard earned money on a business built on lies and deceit. The food and products are overpriced anyways and their bodega coffee is the same price as a Starbucks and not nearly half as good. I expect to be paid for my labor and they did not pay me for work which is illegal. Working for them was a huge waste of time, energy, and resources. They also pay less than minimum wage which is also illegal, their rate of pay for their employees are half of minimum wage and they did not tell me this until after I finished working for them and even then, they did not pay me anything for my labor.

I wish this place didn’t call itself a supermarket because it’s not. It’s a great deli with a big self serve coffee station and large sandwich selection. Very very good! Just wanted to throw out there that it’s not a supermarket for those wondering.

Great store for everything and anything you need.. very clean and products & groceries updated! They are also a UPS Access Point, where you can trust for your packages to be delivered and then you pick up at your convenience and the hours are outstanding they close at 11:30pm! “Macho” the owner is very nice and helpful he also owns the new shops located on 46th street, between 4th & 5th Avenue called “Shawarma Noodles” & the New Pet Store, since there are none around anymore and we needed desperately a pet store here so “Macho” deserves 5 stars great job ?? thank you for your courtesy & professionalism!

If you need to go food shopping for the pantry this is the supermarket to go to. They had everything thing I needed for a last minute dinner.

This is the best Deli and Grocery store in the neighborhood! This place is very clean and they carry so many products. I went in the other morning for a cup of coffee, which you can make your self any way you’d like. I took a walk around the store and noticed that they carry a wide variety of snacks and drinks and even groceries for my home. They had many of my favorite cereals, too many to choose from. In the frozen food section they had many Vegan Options from brands like Morningstar. This is a plus because not even the neighborhood supermarkets carry Morningstar Products. This is good because my wife is a vegan, I picked up some of the chikn nuggets for her. As for me, I ordered a Hot Pastrami Hero and let me tell you, this was the best sandwich I’ve had since I moved into Sunset Park. I went in for a cup of coffee and came out with groceries and lunch. This will definitely be my go to spot since it’s only two blocks away from my house and right upstairs from the 45th station. I told the cashier that I recently moved to the neighborhood and he and the chef both welcomed me which was really nice. I will make this coffee stop every day before I get on the train in the morning.
