This is hands down the best steak Ive ever had. I eat out multiple times a month at various places all over NJ & NY and this is the best steak Ive ever had. I took home the A5 Japanese wagyu, it was unreal. The prime marinated hangar steak, amazing. The deli counter is out of this world, very decently priced and the food is so fresh and creative. A million different kinds of salads and stuffed peppers along with traditional small Italian dinners like eggplant rollatini. Just go, you will not be disappointed!PS Dont let the guy who answers the phone deter you from going here.

I have visited multiple times and have never had a bad experience. I regularly take a twenty minute subway ride just to get to this butcher shop.Paisanos has the finest Italian heroes I have had in the City and their meat selection is also top notch. Although the prices are on the higher end of mid-range, that is to be expected from a local butcher and you can be assured that you are paying for quality.The customer service is also excellent. The shop often has a line, but the service is fast and very helpful. They will comply with requests for cuts and are always friendly and helpful.I have to give a special shoutout to Paisanos sausage options. They have a lot of wonderful sausage, including Andouille which is essential for many southern Creole dishes. As I grew up eating and cooking traditional gulf coast food, I can vouch that this andouille is authentic, incredibly tasty, and very well-priced.I would highly recommend Paisanos to any cook, foodie, or simply sandwich lover.

Love my local butcher! It's a tight space, and there's usually a line, so it helps to know what you want before you get there, but the service is friendly and will help you fid what you need. Lots of beef and pork cuts, plus poultry and a selection of Italian groceries

Best butcher shop in the area. I come here for all my meat needs. They have everything from more common items like steaks, wagyu, chicken, pork belly, smoked bacon, and different sausages to less common meats such as snake, kangaroo, camel, etc. They also can make sandwiches and offer a large number of pre-made dishes like pasta salad, sun-dried tomatoes, and stuffed olives. Everything is fresh and the butchers are very friendly. There’s usually a line on evenings and weekends so it’s best to go during off hours like on weekday afternoons. They offer a points card which can give discounts if you shop there a lot. You can also order a big order ahead of time for pick up so you don’t have to wait in line.
