This store claims it is open until 7pm. I went here at 6:30pm and the owner was locking the door. He could have offered to let me buy something, since I was there half an hour before closing, but he said that he had more important things to do.

Being older than I like to be I actually REMEMBER the “good old days”, before Home Depot & Lowe’s. The place is somewhat organized and for its size they actually carry a very nice variety, I can only remember one time I could not find what I went there for. They have awesome hours for a mom and pop and it actually gives you time to stop at after work if you need to grab something. I believe the owners are at the register most the time and always friendly, him a lot more than her, it still friendly.It’s sad because in this land of GIANTS this is a tiny tiny dinosaur soon to be extinct like the rest. We’ll let me say this before there gone, KUDOS to these owners for fighting the fight!!! I would give 5 stars, but I’m trying to rate the store and not the changing times and gentrification it’s battling in the background.

Very handy for quick hardware purchases. I used to use them a lot when I was renovating my house but the old DIY crew went when it was sold X years ago. I used them this week to get a gallon of exterior paint for my garage and the color wasn't even close to the paint sample code I gave the guy. Maybe he typed it in wrong but I'll have to redo the job later, but using the 77th St Benjamin Moore dealer.
