Fast and efficient! Russell was great to deal with and helped us take down a standing closet unit and assembled the new one. He also hauled away the old closet and boxes. GREAT service and well done job.

No call. No show! Scheduled a date/time with Russell. The morning of scheduled appointment, texted Russell to confirm info. Received a response saying he 'forgot' and asked if he could come 'tomorrow'. Asked Russell 'what time tomorrow'. Russell replied he would let me know. I never received a response! Found another company to complete the job.

Stacey and the mobile storage team are amazing! Super professional and responsive. I strongly recommend using this company if you are looking for a storage or moving service in NYC. We moved during early covid days and they were super helpful to ease the stress. They are very careful and packed all our delicate belongings and artwork perfectly. We have had to access our storage multiple times and this is also a seamless process.

Russell was super helpful and responsive, a pleasure to deal with, and available quickly. He and his employee were both very efficient, and went to a lot of trouble to get everything we needed from Ikea and make sure it was assembled and placed perfectly. His prices are competitive. Amazing! With IKEA running out of stock on many items, we had an urgent need to get our order and have it delivered for our new closets. Russell was incredibly responsive and delivered our entire order in a quick and careful manner. He saved the day. We'd use him again in a second!

We had a big project that required someone who could disassemble, move, provide a COI and reassemble two huge Ikea pieces. Russell was the right guy for the job. He even managed to work around the inconvenience of having our elevator break down as he was moving. He and his partner worked all day and put together two systems for us that came out perfectly. I wasn't that keen on the whole disassemble, move, reassemble thing but Russell made it look easy and always with a smile on this face. He's the best, don't hesitate to call him.

I can't recommend this business enough! In March 2021 my lease in nyc was ending and I had not seen my family at all since Jan 2020 due to covid. I decided to temporarily move back home out of state, spend time with my family, and store my belongings until I secured an apartment in NYC at a later date. Stacey (the receptionist) and Vlad (the mover) made this process unbelievably smooth during a stressful time. Stacey's customer service is unmatched. She explained every step of the storage and moving process with total transparency. The rental rate was very reasonable and pro-rated when necessary (who does that??). There was an optional, extra fee to hire Vlad for moving my belongings in and out of the rental unit. Also very reasonable, and Vlad and his team were swift, professional, and mindful of my large or delicate furniture. Their smallest storage unit held everything for a 400ft² studio apartment with room to spare. Even their website was easy to navigate to make the monthly rental payments. Seriously, I wish every business was run this well. If you're looking for honest, friendly folks to take care of your stuff, look no further!

I highly recommend Russel for his services. He was excellent f throughout. He helped me move a big wardrobe from Brooklyn to jersey city. He did a great job start to end.(Disassemble -move - -Assemble). I look forward to giving him more assignments in the future.

Responsive and reliable! Russell drove all the way to Edison and Paramus to pick up furniture from Ashley and IKEA, deliver to Manhattan, and assemble them promptly. He kept us informed all the way. I would not hesitate to recommend his great work!

Wanted to get a sofa from Ikea and it finally was in stock today. Russell helped purchase the sofa, delivered it, installed it within one hour, and did all the cleanup before leaving. Definitely would use his service again in the future!

Stacey and the team are AMAZING; Makespace cancelled on us on the morning of our move (though everything was confirmed... We actually continued to receive auto-text confirmations from them throughout the day, but that's for another yelp review lol) In a last minute panic to get movers AND storage for a same day turnaround, we somehow came across NYMSS and they were absolutely phenomenal. What could have been a total sh*tshow of a moving experience turned into a blessing in disguise: This was the best thing that could have happened to us during this move! The scheduled a same day pickup and move (this was during the midst of covid, when everyone was making an exodus), charged us reasonable prices (when we were really in a bind and totally desperate as we were moving out of state), and were just an overall pleasure to work with during a very high stress situation. They are incredibly communicative, accommodating, and professional. In an industry where these traits are so far from the norm, Stacey and NY Mobile Self Storage are in a league of their own.

Would give zero stars if I could. My husband and I hired him about a month ago to pick up, deliver, and assemble ikea furniture for us as well as mount our three TV's at our Westchester, NY home for today, the 18th of February. We were in communication with him all month confirming the date of February 18th. Every several days he and my husband would talk about February 18th. The night before (Feb 17th), we reached out for a final confirmation, and he confirmed yes, the 18th. Then we reached back to set a time frame for him to show up the next day. No response. My husband had to call him the morning of the 18th and he told us, "I'm not coming, I'm in Florida". Please explain to me how one confirms time and time again, including the night prior - then has to be tracked down and tells the customer, "I'm on the opposite side of the country". Not only is this extremely dishonest and unprofessional, but this behavior also lacks common courtesy and human decency. Absolutely unreliable and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Russel came soon and saved me. I had a wall bed assembly that no one could assemble, I'm happy to say he took very short time to assemble it professionally without causing any issues other handyman caused. He was very careful about everything. Very professional and very good price. My family and I recommend Russel.
