Good afternoon,Recently I’ve become a new member of the North Brooklyn YMCASo far my experience has been a great one. However, I’m having a trouble finding an empty or unoccupied locker in the men’s locker room.99% have locks on them already with members just leaving them. I come in at 7am and have to use a tiny locker for all my gym clothes, my jacket and my towel. There are barely any people in the gym but all the lockers are locked.Is there a way to notify the members not to leave the locks and be cordial and considerate to other members? We are all paying the same membership and I don’t understand why I can’t use the lockerThank you very much.Hopefully there will be at least a notification in the men’s locker room for the members not to leave their clothes not only overnight but just like forever.It’s really frustrating.

Gym is kinda small, people don't Re-Rack the weights, They don't Update accessories or Lubricate the bars...hence they always squeak...very pricey for what you can get at another gym. BTW the main attraction is the weight room and its not that good.

I have been going to this YMCA for about 16 years now and while the gym is very similar to the past it has changed greatly with the employees. the customer service I receive there is honestly horrible, when I walk in i only get greeted by one of the workers and I frequent this gym at least 4 days a week. When I ask for a question, I had to change my card info for the gym membership and the young woman who was dark skin with blonde hair seemed very uninterested and hard to get her attention. However there are two young lady's working there who do have great customer service. The gym also closes way too early on the weekend.

Has some of the nastiest people working there especially the lady the works at the front desk at night time.She stops me as I am coming in as usual to tell me with a straight face that I owe them two moths of membership fees and if if I do not pay they will terminate my membership in few days. This came to me as news as I am coming in regularly and scanning my ID and nobody said anything about the payment not received before today. They have my credit card information on file and change my card regularly in the beginning of each month. She did not provide any good answer as for why the did not collect the fee as my credit is valid with plenty of funds and is being used by me on daily bases every where. She also said falsely that they called me. And, I absolutely have no records of that. Again and again kept telling me to pay or lose my membership.This is the way they are treating a member of the organization for more than 20 years who is in good standing and used to bring my entire family here.It is disgusting to say the least.

This YMCA should put the community it served and the people utilizing it services first, my son had a bad experience there and refuses to go back. I am canceling our membership.

Customer service could be a lot better. You can count on being charged after confirming that you put a hold on your membership, for sure

Its a community, where the entire family can go and enjoy either swimming,, sports or classes.. Everyone is always so nice,, and welcoming.. During these difficult times covid-19, having it closed has been difficult for a minority community that has always struggled. I truly appreciate the people who worked in North Brooklyn YMCA. They are just exceptional

I wasnt able to go inside today but I was happy to see that it was still open. They have a pool and the staff is friendly.

This place is trash I have been here and there is rats and roaches everywhere and fungi the outside the bathrooms my mom and sister collected ring worm from the bathrooms and areas throughout the YMCA.
