My car was sent to Donaven May to get in diagnostic. Donaven sent my car to a different shop without my permission now he states he has nothing to do with it. I’m still fighting for my car. From 12/2022 to now. Not recommend. No stars for me -⭐️ had to put one to post

Donovan May owner of this shop. He said he could get me a car from an auto auction. Gave him and his wife $20,000 get the car. Then they told me that the car I want would be $5,000 more. So I gave them the $5,000. Then they told me it would be $3,000 to ship the car. Gave them the $3,000. Come to find out it was a salvaged car and they were trying to get $13,000 more out of me to fix the car. I said no way am I giving them more money. So I basically walked away with nothing. No money no car. I finally go back to them to get a car, they gave me a 2007 car with 173,000 miles on it. They assured me that even though the car was old it was good. A week and a half later I was driving the car on the highway and the time belt breaks completely off and the car swerved out of control and I lost power steering. I almost died. I called Donovan May (owner) and he says that he does not care... it’s a used car and it’s my responsibility to get it fixed and he has nothing to do with it. Now I’m left without a car. The car is still stuck in Yonkers, Ny. Do not trust this guy. It just may cost you your life

New Horizon Automotive is a disgraceful, exploitative, and morally bankrupt business. For years, they have used fear and intimidation to monopolize all available street parking in the neighborhood. They regularly take license plates off to avoid getting tickets on cars they are working on leaving these cars parked on residential streets for months on end. Reconsider supporting a business that has such a profound and negative impact on local community.

Very Very Bad Experience! I brought My car to this shop for a simple front and back bumper repair and ended up with my vehicle missing it’s side view mirrors and a crack on the passenger side mirror. The paint job was POOR & the bumper that was placed on my vehicle was the incorrect bumper. I ended Up purchasing the correct bumper and when brought to the shop, was told that they would rather not repaint the correct bumper to place on my vehicle. They are very unprofessional and uncommunicative. Why put on an incorrect bumper without contacting the owner of the vehicle first? Just a very bad experience overall & super overpriced

Dropped my car off-they did work without my permission and then charged me an outrageous price. When I agreed to pay they told me the credit card machine was broken. I knew this was a lie because the uhaul credit card machine was clearly working on the counter. Seems like something illegal going on. Definitely reporting this business.
