I am 13 years old. The pharmacist was very rude to my mom and he posted my private prescription information on Google. Do not go there if you need privacy.
Yes, I was your “patient”… Here is the prescription my doctor sent to you yesterday. Liar liar pants on fire.
And I have had my profile since I was 10 years old, just never felt the need to do a review until you shared my medical information without my permission.

I have been a longtime customer of Narrows Pharmacy for the past 22 years. Needless to say for 22 years, I had no problems loved every single one of the people that worked there. They were always so very helpful and caring. Now there is new ownership and everything changed. One of my scripts is for lidocaine patches, and I truly only like one manufacturer only, so I asked for that one manufacturer and was told sure no problem about a week later, I spoke to them again to make sure it was there to pick it up and was told that the manufacturer I like I couldn't get and I had to get what they had. I said no thank you I won't use them. I asked if they can get them in and they said no you get what we have. I've never been spoken to like that at this pharmacy. There's one young gentleman that is polite and respectful. I'm not even sure he's still there. The rest seem to have an attitude and are just not warm and friendly. I was able to switch my medicines to a new pharmacy and got what I wanted and needed with no problems. Unfortunately- for them - they seem to be losing lots of customers. All they truly need to do is be friendly, caring, and go a little above for the customer. All free - costs nothing. It must be a generational thing. I am old school and prefer old school treatment. I found it with a new pharmacy.

I drove from Staten Island to pick up my mother's medicine and the guy is looking at me and couldn't even pass me how medicine she's been going there for 32 years even though it's new owners she just lost the customer I don't I advise people not to go to this pharmacy.

I don’t understand why people are indignant, it’s a very good pharmacy, I’ve also had many times when the pharmacy doesn’t accept all insurances, and yes, I understand how difficult it is for Pharmacept to deal with drug addicts and addicted people

The new owner has chosen who to serve and who to disregard. They had my scripts for 3 days, wouldn't fill one of them and didn't bother to let me know. I had to pick them up - go home and open the bag to find out Their excuse was predicated on the same reason he's given others - - we don't have our license yet. That's total BS as he filled the same prescription the month earlier. The pharmacy should be reported to the DEA or any other group responsible for the regulation of medication. When money and profit dictates --Unethical behavior is limitless! Go to a real pharmacy!

Read a few reviews.. was paranoid about getting my refill. Went today woman at counter couldn't have been nicer. She said she will call me when. There ready. 20 minutes later she called. Went to get my prescriptions.

Dennis the new owner of Narrows Pharmacy is rude and needs guidance in customer service! He is trying to ride on the great service of the previous owners. He adamantly refuse to refill prescriptions for three chronically Ill customers. He stated he doesn’t have his NPI number or his DEA number , this is a lie .In addition he doesn’t accept 3 different insurances. He stated” go somewhere else” or “pay in cash if the prescriptions are so important” I had to contact three different insurance companies because the prescriptions were sent to Narrows electrionally. In addition contact all of the physicians to send new prescriptions to a new pharmacy ! It is so sad that he is destroying the reputation ofthe previous owners .UPDATE !!!! Now it is consider HARASSMENT AND FRAUDDennis as called me numerous times (robocall) to complain about my reviews.I do not appreciate you replying that I threw a temper fit or used foul language. This is absurd and now you are damaging my character which i will file charges against with consumer affairs and NYC lincense board.In addition you stated on the phone yesterday it was all about money, that our insurance do not pay you a lot that’s why you refused to fill electrically prescription that you got paid for ! It has been verified by the three insurances company which it FRAUD!And YOU did not transfer our prescriptions to another pharmacy YOU threw the printout at me and told me to go somewhere else !You never suggested a new insurance broker on the phone call ! You bad mouth the previous owners and insisted you were not making a substantial profits on our insurances ! Plus we can’t change insurance when it is not enrollment period !

I was also unaware of the change in ownership, until this past Wednesday. I called to follow up on a prescription refill request that I had made several days earlier. The woman who answered the phone said that it was ready, but she quoted me a price of 50% more than the same refill was last month. I asked her to please check the price. She said that someone would call me later in the day about it. Approximately an hour later, the new owner called me back. Immediately after I said hello, the response was a rude and arrogant "you should use another pharmacy, I don't need you causing me trouble." I wasn't aware that calling your pharmacy to follow up on a prescription refill request causes trouble for them. I will take the new owner's advice, and bring my business to a different pharmacy.

If I could give the new owner of this pharmacy a zero I would. My father has used this pharmacy for over 25 years, he is 89 and has congenital heart failure and was hospitalized this week for severe water retention. A new prescription for a stronger diuretic was sent to Narrows and we are still waiting for his medicine after an entire day of dealing with this rude and incompetent new owner. I have never experienced such horrible customer service from a pharmacy. I'm also disappointed that we were not notified in advance of this ownership change. We will be moving to another pharmacy as soon as possible and I have zero hope that this pharmacy will even provide me with the full list of my father's prescriptions.
