A week ago I noticed a large pebble bowl I'd purchased had a small hairline crack in it. I was going to throw it away, but then decided to call the store given the products have such a quality reputation. I spoke with Madeline, who asked me to send a picture, which I did. Within less than 5 minutes, she emailed me back "how sad! Please come by for a replacement at your convenience. What color was the piece, it's hard to tell from the picture. I will set it aside." And that was it. No questions, no need to bring the bowl back, just an extremely pleasant encounter at the store to pick up the replacement. Very nice and very smart since they now have a customer for life!

There are no returns...just store credit! do not shop here...there are other places to buy Mudd! and if you send something back...they charge 25 dollars...plus 25 dollars to resend the correct item! definitely poor customer service! expected better!

One of my favorite stores in New York City. We bought our whole table setting for 12 at Mud in Brooklyn as well as a bunch of cooking items. We were helped by store manager Sarah. She took our shopping experience to a whole other level and because of it we have formed a long term friendship with Sarah and the Brooklyn store. We now go back often and buy other bits and pieces. Muds quality is as good as it gets. My family and I are over the moon! You must check out the Mud store in Brooklyn and ask for Sarah!
