Vegetarian options: Yup you have choices,. ? enjoy it!!
Kid-friendliness: Room enough to sit n paint or draw etc.

I've been here several times to have coffee at the counter and it's been great, but what kind of diner doesn't serve French toast? My sister was hoping to have it on one of our visits but they don't even make it. Weird. For a diner, that's a bit bizarre.

My wife and I had ordered two breakfast platter. It was very disappointing for the amount of money we spent. The portion size was something on a kid’s menu. Half a toast, four pieces of hard potatoes which they called home fries and three slices of bacon. My wife and I had never been to a diner that only served one slice of toast with a breakfast platter. The waitress was nice but did not know what a fried egg was. My wife had to explain. All these were $60 plus tip. We would never go there again. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Visiting from the UK on a sightseeing trip and came across this diner in a very nice neighborhood . First impression was that this was an "up market " diner (fresh flowers & candles on the tables !) Food was very good and so was the service. Thoroughly enjoyed it at Montague Diner !

Place is cute, the food was alright, but not much selection. Idk why they call themselves a diner tho, they server soda out of a can.

This place takes reservations, which is great. They sat us right on time.
Went there specifically for the giant grilled cheese, which I thought was a really cool idea. We ordered that which was going to be an appetizer and ordered some other meals as well. She took the order and a couple of mins later comes back and says they are out of the grilled cheese bread (this was at 12 noon). Needless to say, I was very disappointed because we went there specifically for the novelty of that. So I wound up getting a Greek omelet , which was just so-so. Also ordered was a tuna salad sandwich, and egg salad sandwich and mozzarella sticks. Those were enjoyed more than than the omelet.
Good place for the neighborhood, just disappointed we couldn't get the giant grilled cheese, especially since I came from upstate.

Way over-priced and small portions. When I left I still was hungry. Feels more like a vanity project than a diner for the people of the community which is a bummer.

Montague Diner is a throwback. The food, vibes, service everything is classy and classic. I had the burger (unreal). Milkshake (unreal). It felt like I was home - but my home was expertly decorated.

Had a wonderful meal here. Even though it recently opened it had such classic diner vibes that felt so cozy. Service was prompt and attentive. Food was delicious, I was OBSESSED with the fries that came with my burger. The others in my party also loved their meals too. Great for kids as well as there was a place to fold up our stroller as well as high-chairs for them to sit in.
Kid-friendliness: They had high-chairs for toddlers which is always appreciated and never a guarantee.

The owner Ben is a great dude! The service was excellent and he took care of us right. Loved the burger and deserts.

Good morning ! This is the place to go with kids- or if you feel like being a kid! The food is delicious. Real diner food! Perfect eggs and potatoes , fruit and yogurt or Pancakes Rosco style ( for those who like a slather up of Nutella and whipped cream!) Real juice and strong coffee. If your breakfast starts with a cheeseburger fries and a milkshake no one’s judging. The staff is friendly and patient, fast with extra napkins ! The best Brooklyn vibe.: You be you and we’ll feed you! Thanks !!
