I saw this urgent care walking on Flatbush on day and today was the day I checked myself in due to a splinter in my foot. The receptionist was warm and explained the kiosk system I waited no more than 5 minutes before I was taken to the back and triaged. The assistant in the back was warm and understanding to my discomfort. The Md came in and went to work. It was a great experience would recommend

This was the perfect ? location. Upon entering this office for the 1st time the receptionist gave a warm welcome made me comfortable. It's very clean and modern, I didn't have to wait long before seeing a Dr. who I am so shock when she introduce herself first & lastname. She listened to my issue believe me after she gave me my diagnosis she helped me alot. It was a pleasure seeing staff that looks just like me. I will definitely be going back there.

SNIFFLE SNIFFLE ?
Had to go to ModernMD Urgent Care- Flatbush for my hemorrhoid. It was the biggest they have ever seen! I’ll be proud of that accomplishment once it’s healed but still in the throes of that now.
Although the care was great, they said they didn’t take my insurance even though they had a paper in the lobby saying they did. Like come on! Instant 1 star ?

I needed a quick in and out appointment and the nurses and staff were able to provide that for me! I knew that it wouldnt be possible if there were many other patients waiting and didnt want to burden anyone but the team still did everything in their power to expedite my visit and still offer kindness and high quality care. Ill be coming back :)

I’ve shared this internally with the organization on their website but sharing it externally too. My visit to this ModernMD location at 916 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11226 was truly a horrible experience.
At first, being taken care of by a black woman with locs was something that put me at ease but I quickly learned over the course of my visit that this woman was cold, callous, seemed to want to be anywhere but answering my questions. Being diagnosed is scary and having a virus combined with other symptoms you don't understand deserves more empathy than I was shown today.
I’m disgusted and disappointed by the bedside manner and lack of sensitivity given the population you serve here. Would highly recommend a refresher on treating patients with kindness and care and would highly recommend patients like me (whatever was so triggering about me that caused her to leave the room while I still had questions- my blackness, my lack of awareness, my woman-ness, I don’t know) to steer clear until then. It’s disgusting and disappointing that I would spend my money here on a. Co pay and be treated the way I was. I felt awful leaving this place.
