Joey and the team at M&D did an excellent job in helping me with an emergency repair to an original brownstone mortise lock. See the photos of the original and the replacement cylinder. Joey worked especially hard--many hours into the night--to ensure the lock worked correctly. He installed a Mul-T-Lock, which is a big upgrade from the previous, improper cylinder. Called them after I got locked out of my apartment. They showed up quickly but charged an exorbitant amount of money just to break the lock, and then charged again, basically the same amount, to replace it. I went along with it because I didn’t have another option but I feel like I got ripped off. Would not recommend their prices.
