Visited this store for the first time. Compared to the other See's candies stores visited previously, this store is small with limited items. Bought some dark chocolate with nuts as usual. The staff was friendly. The location is rather easy to find even for a visitor; just follow Google Maps directions.
Visited again in October 2024. Essentially no change, except the unit price. It is almost 40 (39.95 to be exact) USD per pound now. Must find a way to cut the consumption of See's Chocolates.

While looking for souvenirs during my trip to the U.S., I couldn't find anything suitable, so I bought some Brittle candy to give as a gift to my friends who like snacks. I tried to taste it and decide for myself, but the price difference between the two sizes wasn't that big, so I ended up buying the larger size. But when I tried it, it was too sweet, and I wasn't sure if my friends would like it, so I decided to just eat it myself while I was in New York. Still, the taste is okay.

See's Candies is a wonderful place to visit. The decor takes you back to a special time that is warm, magical and full of cherished family memories.
The chocolate is amazing!! So fresh and delicious, with so many flavors to choose from. Great for gifts, and great to treat yourself! I love it!!
The staff were very pleasant, the manager is kind and informative, they know their candy.
This is also the only See's on the East coast.
I got a 1 pound box of chocolates, I let the team know what kind of flavors myself and my husband typically like, and they built a box with great suggestions in mind.
My favorite is strawberry cream, everything was so good.
Thank you, I will be back!

The staff was really friendly!
And this is See's so of course the chocolates are great. I'd walk a mile for a box of Nuts & Chews and, since this is NYC, I *did* walk a mile for a box of Nuts & Chews!

Great staff - friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable! This is the only See's Candies store on the East Coast, with product flown in weekly from Los Angeles to ensure freshness!

A friend loves Sees, so tend to pop in to buy him a box when I'm in the area. Cute little place, with nice ambience on entering - despite the small size.
Chocolates are good but wildly expensive. They only very rarely seem to have the Mixed Milk box, the one I actually want, but will make up a custom box if you ask. Not as good for travel, however, and works out more expensive.
Service is hit and miss. It's always been either quiet and deserted when I've gone in and still can't predict. One guy with kind of auburn curly hair has been there a few times and may be a manager? He's great and makes you feel like an actual person, not an inconvenience. Others can be nice or disinterested.
A peculiarity that drives me crazy is their insistence on saying "you don't want a bag, do you?" and "you don't want a receipt, do you?". Apparently the franchise owners demand it and it rankles. Maybe I DO want a bag and/or receipt? Minor thing, but it comes across as a bit paternalistic, patronising and miserly. Such a bizarre approach to customer service. I just spent over $100 on chocolate, so I'd prefer you didn't become dismissive as I hand over the money.

Chocolate lollipops are very delicious.
I visited here to buy souvenirs when I went on a trip to New York.
I bought a lollipop and almond chocolate.
When I tried the lollipops at the hotel, they were so delicious that I took 30 minutes to visit again the same day. The next day was my return day, so I was very happy that I was able to purchase it without any problems.
It originated in Los Angeles, so it's easier to buy there.
The attitude of the staff is not very good.

I’ve been coming to sees since I was a small child and upon moving to nyc I miss a lot of my faves from back home in california luckily this is t one of the places I have to miss out on ! Sees is local to me in the village w all the same wonderful items I love ! I’m a huge fan of the rocky road and coffee hazelnuts chocolates ! Yesterday Sunday 3/3/24 I was greeted by Victor , Alex and Tim who were all wonderful gentleman providing me and my son w great, kind , patient service ! Absolute 5 ?they were so helpful and kind towards my son and myself even helped me out w the stroller due to the high step at the entrance! I wanted to mention them as and a special thank you these gentleman deserve to be acknowledged and rewarded bc so many places esp now really lack quality customer service and these gentlemen went above and beyond ! I will be frequenting this location certainly more now that I discovered it !

Had no idea there was a location in NYC so was excited to go here. It's a small shop but staff was friendly. Candy is always good at See's, it is definitely one of my favorites.
