I trust this correspondence finds you well. I am compelled to address a recent visit to your establishment, during which a disconcerting incident unfolded, leaving an indelible mark on the shopping experience. It is with a sense of disappointment that I articulate my concerns regarding both the perceived discourtesy and evident racial profiling that transpired. While perusing the cocoa mix section, my friend noticed a peculiar behavior exhibited by two female associates who appeared to engage in inventory management in her immediate vicinity. The disconcerting aspect arose when the demeanor of these associates markedly transformed upon the arrival of white patrons. The disparate treatment was palpable and raises disquieting questions about the principles underlying customer service.Post-payment, my companion observed the same associates congregating near the cash register at the rear of the store. This observation, coupled with the discernible difference in treatment, compounds the disheartening nature of the encounter. It prompts reflection on the implications of such conduct within the broader context of customer interactions. In the spirit of fostering an environment that transcends racial or ethnic considerations, it is upon establishments to diligently address any semblance of prejudicial treatment. This not only preserves the integrity of the shopping experience but also aligns with expectations of inclusivity and respect.I implore you to scrutinize this incident earnestly, reassess customer service protocols, and institute measures that underscore fairness and impartiality. In doing so, you not only rectify a specific occurrence but also contribute to cultivating an ethos that resonates positively with a diverse clientele.Thank you for your consideration of this matter.

I really disliked this place.1. For a place that sells "good vibes" and crystals the front desk girl with the light brownish hair was rude. Came here on June 3rd around 630 pm, the lady behind the counter wouldn't greet you, was on her phone and when you came to pay she didn't say a word. Get another girl. She'll push away your clientele. Either that or someone could steal something and this girl won't even notice. 2. Their stuff is cute, but a lot of it is misplaced and expensive. They get off on taking advantage of the community because it is Williamsburg. Crystals are way too overpriced. So are the jewelry which the lady in the front didn't know the material of the jewelry was or if it was hypoallergenic. I've Overall: judging from another reviewer here they disliked this place too because of the weird vibe. Trust me you're better off finding cutesy things someplace else for cheaper price

This shop full of knick knacks like scented candles, stationery, throw pillows, and any other tchotchke you can imagine is cute at first blush, but can also be considered the stuff-that-will-pile-up-in-your-junk-drawer-pile store. Everything is covered in pithy phrases and bright colors. My less cynical take is that if you're looking for a cute gift to get someone you don't know very well, like a colleague, this place will have you covered. This shop must do so well for white elephant and secret santa gift shopping or a place to get fun greeting cards any time of year. This wouldn't be a place I'd buy anything for myself though.

I go to Lockwood a lot to buy cards for any occasion. Today when I went the vibes were just off. Normally the staff are super nice, always greet you and ask if you need help. Today I went in and they didn't say anything. I went up to pay and said hello which they didn't even greet me back. Which was extremely rude. Today whoever was working was unwelcoming and it was not a good experience. I go here at least once a month and normally whoever is working is super nice.

Excellent little gift shop in Greenpoint! Surprisingly broad but well curated selection of giftable items (also ideal for treating yourself). Plenty under $25 if you just need a little something to bring a smile to a friend or relatives face. Great options for all ages!
