This salon in under new ownership. Not exactly sure when this happened. Approximately a year ago? Cleaner shop now. Excellent service, skilled nail technicians. I went back when gel wasn't staying. No problem they fixed with a smile. Prices raised from previous owner...well worth it. Highly recommend.

I’ve been looking around for a competent manicurist because lately I’ve had a really bad experiences with previous manicurist; I.e, my gel manicure chipping the very next day or two days later. Unacceptable!!. But my search finally ended when I met xindi 2 weeks ago. She is EXCEPTIONAL! Her reputation definitely precedes her. She was extremely meticulous when working on my nails. I highly recommend her!!!

I have a great experience each time I go to Cindy. She goes off a picture I show her but adds her own flair. The price is very reasonable for the work she delivers. One time, my nails lasted over a month without lifting! The nail salon is also one of the cleanest I have ever been.

This was posted by my husband on here and has since been deleted and he blocked:
Made an appointment here for my wife and my daughter, when I told the man that I didn’t want my daughter to get gel they all of the sudden couldn’t do my daughters nails anymore. This is after she was sitting in the chair and mentally preparing herself to get her nails painted. She is 4 years old!!! A couple of the other staff members saw my daughter and that she was crying and asked the manager to do them and he told them no. Do not bring your kids here if you are not willing to be forced to get services that you don’t want. They will get them out of the chair for someone that is going to make them more money! I understand that money talks but when it’s a 4yr old that just wants to get her nails painted next to her mom maybe there should be an exception.
To add to what my husband has said, when we first arrived to the salon a women sitting next to me asked if she could either make an appointment for her kids or if she was able to bring them with her since that would make it easier on her to make more frequent trips to the salon, the owner or manager (I believe he was) said no, they don’t usually take kids under the age of 6 because they are too little for the chemicals in the salon. This is just what I overheard, they never told me otherwise for my 4 year old when I brought her in (this is the first I’ve ever heard of this “rule” from a nail place but okay, understandable) When I asked if she could get her nails polished he said yes she could at first but then proceeded to say no they wouldn’t do it unless it was gel polish because it wouldn’t be worth it for them because it would come off too easily. (Kind of contradictory to his previous comments about children under the age of 6) as this was his place of business I understand their policies and never complained or got upset really UNTIL my 4 year old was sitting on my husbands lap giggling with him, he was trying to make her feel better since she was crying. The manager then proceeded to tell them to “quiet down” , needless to say that this establishment is not child friendly and if you have kids be aware that you might be frowned upon or your children/toddlers expected to act like robots or worst case scenario you be asked to leave. I hope the manager of this establishment can understand our point of view of why this was upsetting and maybe think differently next time how he approaches children.

I was hoping around different nail salons until I found Cindy. She gives exceptional service and quality work. I love that you make an appointment, I never have to wait and I am never rushed. The salon used a lot more eco friendly product and stays away from harsh chemicals. But still has a massive selection of colors. Cindy is experienced and creative. I love coming to do my nails and would absolutely recommend it.Services: Nail art

Owner was off putting, and over charges. $168 for Gel x is absurd and an extra $20 for a few lines on my nails. They came out ok. I asked her respectfully if she could make my nails a bit shorter last minute, I realized it would be a bit much for dealing with my son. Her response was negative. She got an attitude with me and kept shaking her head after I had asked, even though not a single person walked into the shop the entire time I was there*. So she clearly was NOT busy. It was evident she doesn’t get much business and I’m sure due to her attitude and pricing, that’s why. I’ve been getting tips done for half of my life and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so uncomfortable or taken advantage of.. I’ve gotten Gel X before and I’ve NEVER been charged this much. If I’m spending $200 on nails they should be flawless as well as the service and I promise they both were not. Save your money and go somewhere else, NOT worth it.

Horrible service! They over charge and then they ask for 20% tip. It's very unprofessional and rude to ask for a 20% tip.

I really wanted to like this place but each time I came here I always left feeling unpleasant from her rude service. I came here multiple times hoping that maybe it was a one off situation but sadly no. The most recent time I came, I got an SNS tip and she asked me if I liked the almond shape of one of the nails. I said sure but maybe more narrow. It looked fine on one of the fingers so then she proceeded to shape the rest of nails and I noticed it was very sharp at the tip of the pinky nail so I asked if she could round it out. She look up at me, glaring and said I already asked you before we started whether you were ok with the shape and she never did fix it but instead got very defensive and rude. Even if that was the case, I wasn’t asking her to reshape all the nails, just the tip for more round effect. You can see in the pictures, one of the pinky was pointier than the other. She also charges $70 for SNS tip extension meanwhile at Le Charme nails and even midtown they charge about $60. She didn’t clean my cuticles, you can see there’s still white crust on the corners. That wouldn’t have been a big deal but poor customer service is just unacceptable. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back.

Love love love this nail salon! Cindy is what my nails always needed. I have been a chronic nail biter for 20 years and she has transformed the health of my nails. A gel manicure lasts a month without chipping. Her work speaks for itself!Services: Nail art

I really liked this place and will definitely go back my two things are to always make an appointment and save up before hand. Cindy did my nails and they turned out amazing! I did French nails with a glitter line on top and she told me everything she thought about my nails and about my reference picture. She was very helpful. I paid about $96(including tax and tip) without I believe it was 85$(for fake nails + gel + design).

I got a gel manicure here on Dec 28th and it is now Jan 15 of writing this and my nails haven't chipped at all. My polish tends to always chip or peel and this quality is just shocking to me. I am absolutely coming back here again to redo these since they've grown so much, and maybe do some designs one day ?Updated: I went back on Jan 16th and got them done again but by a male employee. Still turned out great!! I do think I prefer Cindy's handiwork a slight bit more for overall precision, but very happy with the results regardless. Looking forward to going back again to get them redone at a shorter length + normal mani to give the nails a little break :)

The worst service I have ever had.Cindy was very impolite and rude. Her manicure was very low level: she just soaked off and did nothing more, literally. I was getting done Russian manicure only before her and she tried to thrush my previous manicurist first.Gel soak off is $20, whereas in Manhattan it’s $8. I do not recommend this place at all. That’s your reply: I cannot call this manicure, when you were rude, unpleasant talking all the time: how bad my previous manicure was done, oh yes you also wanted to leave layer of old manicure, and tried to make me believe that was the way done before, specially I told you I was getting done Russian manicure: meaning nails get completely cleaned before applying new gel. And yes you did manicure moving my cuticles by File, not wooden stick. And the same time trying to tell fairy tale how you care about nails. Brighton Chinese manicure is high end level compare to your’s honestly, even though I don’t go there. Learn hospitality at least, you are in America.Service: Manicure
