Kings bay veterinarian is the place to take your pet. I have a black lab , that has a lot of issues ,since she was a puppy . I went to a few veterinarians in Brooklyn, and I didn’t feel comfortable with them at all.
I’ve been going to kings bay veterinary , since my dog was a few years old. she will be 11 years old in November. Dr max lotovsky is a fantastics doctor, he has a lot of compassion and understands animal's.
Dr max helped my dog so much, I always felt very comfortable with him and his staff.
The staff at kings bay is outstanding , very respectful and very helpful.
I would recommend kings bay veterinary to being the best place for your animal.
I always felt , i could trust them with my dog.

Dr. Lotovsky and his staff were professional and courteous through the entire process of helping my cat. Dr. Lotovsky was extremely patient and so caring.

I recently adopted a Stray Cat. I reached out to my contacts and all of them immediately recommended me to Kings Bay Vet Group. This was my first time owning a pet of any kind so I was a bit nervous. Upon stepping into the location, I felt an immediate sense of love and care for my pet. They made all the best recommendations and were also very caring for my pet. They even call in from time to time to check in and make sure things are great. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Went to see doctor with my cat last week. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. The Doctor was so helpful with my cat issues. Definitely recommend this place!

Dr. Max Lotovsky is the best veterinarian you will find for your pets. My dog has been seeing him since he was a pup and he is now almost 6. Dr. Lotovsky is extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring and always gives the proper diagnoses when we come in if something is bothering my boy. I will always travel with any pets I may have to see Dr. Lotovsky for all their medical needs because no other vet is on his level.

Had a wonderful experience here - Dr Max is so knowledgeable, friendly, and was able to diagnose and treat our dog right away. Now she’s healthy and living her best life. Highly recommend this clinic!

I went to this clinic urgently, because my dog had problems with urination. I paid $422 for the appointment, X-ray and injection. They scared me a lot and said that my dog had a cluster of stones in his genitals and announced the cost of the operation at $9,000. I was shocked and in tears. It's a good thing I went to another veterinary clinic, where they took a high-quality picture and where it was clear that only 1 stone was stuck. Your picture was no good. Unfortunately, I will not recommend this clinic to anyone. The vet tried to be polite, but my dog's health is more important to me.

On Monday, September 23, 2024, I took my cat. Parking was hard to fine, but I called to let them know I was searching for parking. The receptionist was very pleasant. When I arrived, I signed in.
The place was big, very clean, and no funky pet smells. It had two elevated screen tvs, good seating, and a delightful gold fish tank. (Good thing cats are in carrying cases?.)
About 10 minutes later, the receptionist told me I had made my appointment for Tuesday, 9/24. (You have to book appointments on-line.) When I checked my email, sure enough I made the error. The receptionist said she'd ask the vet if we could be seen. She came back and said yes, but it would be a wait. No problem. I guess I waited 30-45 minutes.
Before your pet is seen, if you're a first time visitor, someone comes out and does an in-take. You're asked what brings you there, how old is your cat, any prior medical issues, what do you feed your pet. Afterwards, maybe 5-10 minutes later, another person comes and escorts you and your pet to an examination room.
The young lady who escorted us was friendly and treated my cat with great care. A few minutes later, Dr. Negley came and examined my cat.
She told me the cost of some x-rays would be $600 bucks! Seriously? And that ended everything. I had to pay a fee if $50 to book the appointment on-line, and I was charged an additional $125 for the exam. I was so shocked and sad. I just paid grumbling a bit. The receptionist gave me info for the ASPCA. When I arrived home, I looked at the bill. It was $175 for an emergency walk-in minus $50. Had I know I was going to be charged as a walk-in, and I probably should have asked, I would have returned the day I scheduled. I was just happy my cat was going to be seen as she had a medical issue which it was not even resolved due to the stunning cost. Very, very sad. Now I have to still find care for my cat, her issue is unresolved, and I have waisted $175 bucks for nothing! So sad.
That is why I rated them a 3, but I wanted to rate a 2 due to the lack of price transparency. Full disclosure of prices should be posted so there are no surprise fees. I felt the place had wonderful, caring workers and all, but the price was way too outrageous. I did not want to be too mean and unfair.

My dog scared to go there but as every dog he’s just afraid of needles, me too actually ?.
So far with doctor Max my dog feeling good, no problem detected.
Doc can always recommend what’s better for my puppy.
You can definitely trust your puppy’s life to him, he knows what he’s doing.
little bit expensive though.

My dog Cody and I have been coming to this clinic for several years now. He is extremely anxious and his various health issues require frequent visits. Dr Max has always been so patient, kind, and gentle with Cody. He is also collaborative with Cody's specialists and always takes the time to explain his health conditions and results with me. The office staff is great and Victor always goes out of his way to further explain Cody's health conditions with me and has made excellent recommendations. I am truly so grateful to this clinic as they treat your pet like family. I recommend them to everyone!

I called with an emergency on a Sunday and they made room for my dog. She was seen by a veterinarian (a woman, sorry I did not get her name) who was very knowledgeable and took care of my dog's medical issue. The front desk ladies are also amazing. Thank you to Nickie for taking care of us.

Kings bay vet and Dr.Max are hands down the best team I could ask for. Been taking my dog here for almost 10 years and have always found them to be attentive, accommodating and caring. Dr.Max personally calls and checks on my little guy after every procedure.
Would recommend kings bay vet to anyone looking!!!

Just visited Kings Bay Vet for the first time yesterday, and it was hands down the best vet experience I've ever had. Dr. Max was super patient with my anxious dog and really took the time to explain everything. You could tell he genuinely cares. The whole staff was so friendly and understanding, and the front desk team went above and beyond to explain all the medications and answer my questions. Plus, it was really affordable. Highly recommend!

I want to thank Dr. Max?. For curing my cat. performed surgery when we urgently needed it. The operation took place in the morning, and in the evening our cat was already at home and feeling well. I walked around the apartment, drank water and ate my food. Dr. Max did an incredible job, since we contacted him when the cat was already very ill and the doctor immediately performed an operation. thank you to the clinic for giving life to the cat.☺️
