So sad to see Anthony go. the new owners are a pitty the salads no longer what they were when Angelo was cooking and preparing your sandwich WoW that was a sandwich I won’t be going back especially when the talk in Hindi about me and they made my food all wrong So Sad. They were lucky I gave them a 2 stars see my pic not good flavor is gone

One of the best delis in the neighborhood. The sandwiches give off a comforting bodega taste. The prices are reasonable for the area.

The best deli in the neighborhood!! They are very clean, always having fresh bread, coldcuts, muffins, etc. etc. They treat all their customers with respect and like their part of their family. If you're ever in the are and want a delicious breakfast or lunch, I highly recommend John's Deli and Grocery..

The cashier (John I presume) seemed to have an attitude when I asked him for a "patilito", he had the same attitude with my friend, who proceeded to order the same item. The "empanadas", as I had to say were quite mediocre, also the lady with him snatched the money from my friend's hand. I don't know if this had anything to do with the service but my friend and I were the only P.O.C around. Just didn't have a good time there.
