This store is so gorgeous and gave me a brain ASMR moment when I walked in. The woman who helped me was so sweet and super cool, and showed me some of her favorite candles and products. I’m now happy at home with the most amazing candle I’ve ever smelled and a really great hand cream. Also — free samples ?

I was exploring east of Atlantic Ave from Hoyt St and stumbled upon this cute shop. I walked around and checked out all the Jao brand of items. soaps, facial products, etc. The lip balm "specially formulated for lip balm snobs" caught my attention as I have a friend who is always in need of lip balm. I picked up a sample of their face soap which comes in a small cloth pouch with shavings of the soap. They also had Seed face oil samples. I asked the shop clerk how to use. She explained that it goes on before moisturizer. I asked her about the Jao brand. Turns out it's a family business. If I recall correctly its her mom's friend and father was a pharmacist. They developed the Jao brand themselves. My purchases included a handcreme with another brand name and this is by another member of the family. Support local businesses! Shop Small!

A cool spot. I had never heard of this brand before but they have some good skin care products, accessories, clothes and stuff. It's eclectic but it makes sense. My daughter and I stopped in and we did get some skin care products that I am going to try. They are also practicing covid precautions which is great.

Beautiful well curated shop, high quality products. I received excellent service, Falon has a charming personality, super helpful and easy to talk to. Gale the owner is a darling! The aesthetic of store in general is so beautiful!! Definitely worth a visit! A true neighborhood gem
