My H.S. friend Chunky was part owner back in the 80's w/ his brother-in-Law Tony? or Jack. been here since 80's. so now they retired. Honest / integrity / Fast & very fair, if not on the cheaper price side. other's charging down the block $100 - 125 hr they are lower. you won't be disappointed on this shop.

I needed an inspection and thought they would denied me because I didn't call for appointment. John was very pleasant and took my car. He was quick. Very honest. Read rhe reviews and see that many said this place is honest. This is a hidden gem for me. May God bless this business as they do honest work.

A Plus 1 is great John now runs repair shop after Jack and Tony retired.My husband bought our 2012 Honda Accord V-6 for a big maintenance: Timing Belt, Serpentine Belt, water pump, thermostat, coolants(2 gallons), spark plugs. Honda engine with VCM had class action lawsuit on foul spark plugs so my husband wanted to replaced and asked John to keep all old parts for inspection: wear and tear. All OEM parts were bought to John and price was extremely fair, and John answered all my husband’s questions.Thank you A Plus 1, for great service, honesty , and professionalism.

2024/1/15 Monday update:Owner John now services area after Jack and Tony retired after 30 years as Jack and Tony.John, just like Jack and Tony, honest and fair and professional.I bought a 2012 Honda Accord V-6 for timing belt, waterpump, thermostat, 6 spark plugs, all OEM parts I bought to John. Price was very fair and not an easy job since it takes many hours. John was very honest that car could last and could delay service.But I went ahead with full timing belt job and have Honda OEM coolant(8+ quarts).I was able to get car back same day. Very happy.I give a five stars and will recommend you can call or come to shop in person.John answers all repair/car maintenance questions in the phone while managing repairs.A Plus: for A Plus 1, they do NYS annual inspections fairly and will not sell you overpriced unnecessary repairs.I will definitely come back for my 2nd timing belt replacement, another 12 years?Honest and fast on my annual NYS inspection. Please continue the great work with honesty and professionalism.My second inspection this year shop is busy and inspection was fast and did not sell me unnecessary repairs. Previous owners Jack and Tony had retired after 30 years welcoming new management. All the best.

I went there for the first time today. There was an abnormal noise in the front of the car. They did a good job and the abnormal noise disappeared. Their work attitude is very good. I will maintain my car there in the future.

I was sad to say goodbye to Jack & Tony(‘s) and really happy when working with John (APlus1Auto) has been just as great. This shop continues to have great customer service: fast, friendly, honest, and affordable. I can always count on them for an easy to understand diagnosis, straightforward suggestions on the fix, and fair pricing for parts and labor. I am so happy a friend referred me a few years ago and I will continue to give them my business as well as referrals.
