Definitely a must for tourists to check it out when leaving Luna Park! There are other locations elsewhere but why not pick up a treat on the way out?

I visited IT’SUGAR in Coney Island recently and had a blast, just like my previous visit to the Times Square location. This time, I didn’t buy anything but enjoyed the vibrant and whimsical atmosphere as I explored the store. The colorful candy-themed displays and oversized props made for excellent photo opportunities.
Walking through the store was a fun experience, and the playful decor added a light-hearted touch to our day. It’s a great spot for anyone who loves sweets or just wants to enjoy a lively, Instagram-worthy environment. My visit was a sweet escape and made for some great memories. ???

The store was beautiful and clean. However, there were no scales at the candy locations to weigh to ensure you were staying within limit. Got to the cashier and because it was a little over 1lb, the young lady removed even the tiniest of candy from the bag. And she wasn't pleasant at all.

This place is great and looks like a real candy land. The only problems is that A. it is pretty costly and you should expect at least 10 bucks out your pocket just to buy 1-2 items and about 50+ to buy a decent amount and they took away the corner section which had all the gags and joke items which is kind of disappointing since I loved looking at that section and buying a few things.
Vegetarian options: I believe they have vegetarian options and there's a lot of different brands for food so they more than likely have at least a few. You'd probably would need to look at the ingredients since there's so much and workers might not know everything that is or is not vegetarian. I don't think there are many-if at all-vegan options.
Parking: You'd have to look around for parking and since it's coney island-it could take awhile.
Kid-friendliness: Before they got rid of the gag section, that was the only thing that had NSFW items but now it's mainly kid friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible and the candy selection is perfect height!

Great shop as we like them to treat yourself before going to the beach.

Dear fan community of Harribo, Storck and Co...stay away from the overpriced fruit gummy bears. You can't tell which fruit you're eating and it tastes very, very artificial.
The service...well. They sing and do their show...you could help with the cashing. Maybe the other sweets taste good??? Leave the gummy bears in the store and the money in your wallet for better things.

Nice spot for anyone craving sweets. Plenty of choices whether you want chocolate, gummies, sugary, sour or fruity treats. For 16$ a pound a little pricy but nice treat.
