This bank robbed my elderly mother’s life savings of just a few thousand dollars. Over a year later they haven’t returned a single dime and they said their “investigation” could take YEARS. Plus they charge me a fee every month for keeping the account open while I try to resolve. I hate this bank.

It’s also a commercial bank, but not commercial enough to have terrible branches, like the rest of the commercial banks here in Park Slope, so I really hope that they maintain this with their customers and clients because a lot of big banks are losing their local client base due to terrible outsourced customer service & disappointing under-staffed branches, please let citizens corporate be mindful of that to keep us happy & not repeat the mistakes of other big banks.

It's the people at Investors Bank - Sylvester, the Bank Manager (I think), Mr. Kahn, Moona, and Evelyn in particular, all of these people have CONSISTENTLY over time, made my day better. Banking, they know very well and are very professional in their knowledge. But, the difference between Investors Bank, with these people, in particular, that seems to me to set them apart from all the other banks I have dealt with in my 44 years of being a banking customer, is that somehow they convey that they REALLY care, (not "FAKE CARE") as so many of the "Big" banks (and other small banks) do. Other banks FAKE smile at you when you visit but steal your money behind your back through nickel and diming fees for this, that, and the other. It's not just poor people who don't want to be robbed, rich people shouldn't have to put up with this nonsense, either. At Investors Bank, a humble small branch on the corner of 8th St., they GIVE me (and other customers) a $25 REWARD BONUS for keeping my checking account open EACH AND EVERY MONTH. And when you go in, if it isn't Moona, Evelyn, or Mr. Kahn, then it's Sylvester who is handing me a bottle of cold water, just as a matter of course when doing my banking. And if I finish that first bottle, by chance, they are happy to give me another cold bottle of water. They speak to me as if I am a PERSON, not a "Customer." What more could I want?

I had a complex matter to take care of involving establishing a bank account for a trust. I went here as it was convenient and so fortunate that I did. One gentleman Yevgeniy Ginzburg was particularly helpful in dealing with the details. He epitomizes customer service! But everyone there was great. A+!
