I went there on a Saturday at about 10:45am. Found street parking a block away so didn't have to use the parking lot across the street $20 & $15. There are a lot of high end stores. Japan Village is also located in Industry City. It's very small. A dollar type store, tea ceremony place, grocery store, sewing place and animes store. In Industry City, there are different restaurants, patisserie, furniture store and clothing shops. Its a nice place to walk around, they have courtyards. I purchased a bento box in Japan Village for lunch. It was worth the price,$14. Wouldn't make a special trip out there but if I was in the area I would walk around.

Came here for the Brooklyn Night Market and it was a great experience! There were a variety of food vendors with options from different countries. The area was spacious and clean. There was space on both sides for vendor setups and a walking path in the middle. There was also elevated walking areas on both sides. The bathrooms were clean. Keep in mind that not all vendors are cashless so bring cash just in case. Overall it was a great space and experience. Will definitely be back again.

overall really appreciated the visual designs of the park - such a thoughtful and diverse collection with very aesthetically pleasing colors. the orientation and navigating were very confusing tho. it’s one of the places that you have to know where you’re going exactly and make a conscious decision looking for the place and not where you can organically go across all stores / spaces. also not recommend going on weekdays (assuming after work too), shops close early so they weren’t that much to see when i got there. the food was bad too

Beautiful place to chill with friends, family, or even by yourself. A variety of shops and events to keep you entertained. And with so many places to sit, you can find whatever feels most comfortable to you, especially to work. The prices feel like a bit of Manhattan was brought to Brooklyn. I've been hanging out here for years and have even worked for them for a summer internship. It's really a fun place and you can't forget to check out the game room. Check out their website for their different events that are usually free with some paid workshops, too.

I enjoyed the revamped warehouses and factory space now turned into a shopping, dining and whole outdoor oasis. So much to see and you can spend a day here easily. My family and I ventured here for Japan Village mostly but we were happily surprised by the retail and food offered here. Comic book store, liquor for sale, bars and outdoor spaces throughout. Best part of this place was the outside meets inside spaces. One building flowed into the next with a beautiful outdoor passage in between. Multi floors too, in each building. Elevators available. I just wish the parking situation was better, pricey but close. Free spots are hard to come by, on the avenue.

Went back in January all I can say this is the best place to be in just to eat shop, relax and enjoy the peace. The environment seems chill during the week, with no crowds but fewer people, but the weekends can be a little crowded. I would 100% come here if you want to escape the madness of tourists from Manhattan.

Industry city truly feels like a hidden gem. There’s a place for everyone. Whether you’re looking to have some after work drinks with friends. Explore a distillery. Browse a comic book store. Take your kids on a play day or shop around. The possibilities are endless. Definitely a place I will keep coming back to. There’s always something new to enjoy.

Love the place. Was here for a media day and the interview space was nice. The building is secured. So well kept. Lots of businesses and eateries. I just hate it closes early. By 7pm, it's ghost town. What a shame because it's beautiful at night.

Tried to the black garlic tonkotsu ramen, pork tonkatso and the mango pudding at Japan village. There is a food court and there are many food vendors to choose from. It can get crowded around lunch time and might take awhile to look for seats. Nice that you can get food and then go to sunrise mart which is across from the food hall. There is outside seating and you can walk around a bit and go into the next building to explore various shops and there are more food places.

I love this place so much! It’s definitely a hidden gem. I always take my out of town friends to industry city! Everyone loves it. Different varieties of restaurants and mini shopping stores. I love the mini Japanese village. Food is great. The events looks so fun but I never get to attend. Hopefully I attend an event soon!

Industry City is like the mall that I never got to hang out in high school since that is what tv made me think my teenage life would be like...but unfortunately, there weren't any near me at the time. Now I'm a grown-up with a daughter who has somewhere nearby with variety of shops, bakeries, and activities thanks to Industry City. Depending on the time and day, you get to listen to free live salsa music or jazz music or play mini-golf with the kids. If you're hungry, you can order Japanese food at the Japan Village, pizza at Table 87, or a burger at the Burger Joint. Then you can check out the comic books at St. Mark's Comic Book Store or take pictures in front of their latest seasonal displays. There is so much to do here that you could spend the whole day there and wouldn't get bored.I have created so many experiences here with my daughter from attending their kids concerts, Halloween events, and many other activities. It is a great spot to spend with the family.

If, like me, you love old buildings given new life, go visit Industry City in Sunset Park. Part of it anyway, as it's vast -- 16 buildings across 35 acres of repurposed industrial space. In the 1890s, this area was known as Bush Terminal, and was a major international seaport before being used as a navy base during WWI. Around the 1950s the terminal's buildings became one of the first industrial parks in the country, and began to be advertised as Industry City. In 2013, a $450 million redevelopment project turned it into today's manufacturing, office, and commercial complex.I didn't know what to expect, but ended up really enjoying this place! So colorful and lively, with many stores to explore, art to discover, music to hear, food and beverage places to try. Every step around the corner or up the stairs took you to something new. There seems to be special events scheduled regularly also, like various music bands, fashions shows and such. It's a lot to take in, and can be quite overwhelming. Best to pace yourself over several visits. I definitely plan to return!
