You wouldn't want to go here for anything. Not even a stick of chewing gum, let alone an investment in a real automobile. Unless you like having people swarm around you and literally do everything they can to get your money and a signature out of you, meanwhile in another room they are plotting what possible means they can do to get you approved despite how crazy interest rate is, or the length of the loan, they know they shouldn't be giving you and a number they literally just made up to get you to agree to it, then lie about it, cover the number with one hand while pushing you to sign with the other after had added an additional 4k in add on they never mentioned. Pretty much everything they can do aside from holding your face to the desk and say sign it, before I break your g******arm you *** ***of a*** or I'll take that ****e **** of you!. Smile, like they actually cared about you, act like they did you a good deed, say thank you and push you out the door and whisper... good luck. Next! Oh hello, you can bend over right over here, I'll be with you in just a moment, Next!

Terrible service. The manager speaks with a strong accent, it is very difficult to understand his speech. The manager refuses to answer me on the phone until I give my last name and first name, zip code and another information about me. Although my call was to find out if the item is in stock, or it makes no sense for me to come.

My young cousin went down to this dealership and was ripped off. Using hyndai finance she paid 3xs the amount the vehicle was worth. The car was totalled within 8 months and in the state of NY. gap insurance is included in your coverage it covers whatever your insurance doesn't. The finance company (LOURDES) tried to convince us we didn't have this free service and would still owe 7000 dollars. After speaking with an attorney the law is whatever the insurance pays out gap kicks in in ny and we were mislead i will say lied to bamboozled and almost tricked by these two criminals. DO NOT USE THESE THIEVES 3XS WHAT A CAR IS WORTH. They are dishonest and crooked

The better business B. That is not how u conduct business and I'm extremely upset at how much of a snake this Boy was. Hyundai CEO would be highly upset they have someone like him representing their name

I had the absolute best experience here yesterday leasing my new Kona Sel ! I had the pleasure of working with Nick L. - who was knowledgeable, friendly, not pushy and answered all my questions…. And trust me I had a lot of questions. The entire crew at Hyundai City worked together as a team to ensure I got everything I wanted. I would highly recommend this dealership over any others in the neighborhood. I spent all day shopping - Hyundai City was my first stop and sure enough my last stop!!!!I am super stoked to be cruising around town in my new Cactus Firn colored Kona .

Go here if you want them to rip you off. 659 a month for a SEL Tuscon 36 month 10k mile lease. Yea okay. It is insulting. Perhaps you guys felt the need to do this because I walked in with my mother who is not an English speaker? No decency.

HYUNDAI CITY OF BAY RIDGE Truly one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a dealership. The dealership blasts music and is not accommodating to hearing impaired people, nor was the salesperson respectful of the situation when we informed him (e.g. never offered a quiet area to continue our discussion, would speak rapidly and had to ask him to slow down and repeat himself, and would look down when speaking.) Additionally, the salesperson did not behave appropriately and would not let myself or my mom explain our perspective. When we made a general statement about our experience at Hyundai dealerships, he interjected saying it's not his problem that the last owners were "very shady," he increasingly became more aggressive in the way he was speaking and both my mom and I were confused and uncomfortable. When my mom tried to interject his rant, the salesman would not stop and persisted because he took our general statement about our experience at Hyundai as us making "accusations" about him -- which makes no sense. Ultimately, because of the way he was behaving, his incoherent rant, and the ineloquent manner he was expressing himself, I shushed the salesman out of concern of him making a scene and trying to get back to the negotiation. Regretfully, that was obviously not a smart decision because he became even more offended and refused to move forward with our discussion because he felt I was disrespectful -- having zero awareness of how he was behaving leading up to that point. Overall, once that man realized my mom wanted to buy out her current lease and not move forward with purchasing or leasing a new car for herself, he just did not care. That was stupid of him because depending on our experience I was going to ask about buying a car THAT DAY, however because of his ineptitude and overall childlike behavior we didn't even get past a ten minute discussion. I'm going elsewhere and Bay Ridge Hyundai lost my business because their SALES team cannot conduct a productive conversation with current customers and potential buyers.

UPDATE Well after 7 to 9 weeks I finally getting my 2022 Tucson with all the problems the below, this dealership now calls it self Bay Ridge city dealership or Bayridge city dealership. I have a whole new set of problems due to Hyundai not knowing what to do when transferring plates and now I am going to have my license suspended in two days, all because Hyundai instead of transferring my plates like I said to them several times, Hyundai Bayridge ended up going out and getting all new plates at the cost of $380. One of the reasons I wanted to keep my plate, I am disabled and I have a disabled plate and being that I'm not in Florida right now I can't go to the motor vehicle to switch out new plate. The girl in motor vehicle told me it's extremely easy to fix just just cancel the transaction for the new plates and then transfer my old plate and it would've cost me $26 instead of the $380. I spoke to the girl at motor vehicle in Florida she said I just paid the two-year registration on the old plate. Unfortunately Hyundai is giving me the runaround specifically Adam general manager saying that he needs to call his international girl to see what can be done, first of all I didn't know Florida and New York was international. Second I explain to him exactly what the young lady told me at motor vehicle in Florida. When I told Adam I've had nothing but problems he says what are you talking about I said well I was supposed to get my car the next day and then you told me I would get it three weeks later and then I don't know nine weeks later the car finally comes in. He is under the assumption that everything below in my complaint about the sale he feels doesn't pertain to this. I said to him this is all one sale from beginning till the end and I had nothing but problems, he said we took care of all that (gave me money off) said Adam. I stated it's all one sale this is all one sale. Anyway it will be the last sale that I have a spend money at this place. If you are shopping for a Hyundai and hassle free I strongly recommend you go elsewhere but that's entirely up to you. -------------------------------------- If I can give them zero stars I would because they don't even deserve one. Do you not trust this place to buy your car or SUV. They lead me to believe that the car was on the lot and i was told by Neal the salesperson they are are locating they SUV and he would know in five minutes well an hour went by and asked again and now I was informed that he was trying to locate one for me, in the meantime he had me sign all the documents and gave a $5000 deposit to put on hold until I received the SUV. So since I didn't wanna wait anymore I said just call or text me later and let me know when the car is coming in and he even wrote his cell phone on my sales slip. This was on Monday I didn't hear anything from him or anyone from the dealership so now it's Tuesday and after I read the back and very fine print it says they have up to 30 days to locate and deliver and if I cancel that it's gonna cost me for any expense that they in car so I called the dealership the next day and told them it's not in transit to cancel I asked to speak to the sales manager but he was too busy to get onto the phone and said he will call me back later that day Remember it's Tuesday here it is Thursday he still has not called me back I have not heard anything from the dealership at all.

Was told that I would get a great deal on a new car if I traded mine in. Which only has 3700 miles in 3 years. Was told by someone else that they have no new cars and the deal they gave me on the phone is ridiculous, it's more like double that, blaming everything on Covid and supply abs demand. That's ok I'll buy out my car make a ton of profit when I re sell it and go with another brand!!! Buyer beware!

For a business that deals with customers and customer service....I'd rate them zero stars if I could!!! Last week my aunt's purse was stolen from her when she was loading groceries from the store. Since the robber stole her entire purse they took her keys too. She was left to needing to get her car towed to this dealership. The staff inside wanted to charge her a THOUSAND DOLLARS for key replacement. HUH?? For a Hyundai Sonata... My cousins were able to talk the employee down to $795 which is still disgustingly expensive for something Walmart can recreate for less than $3. Flash forward to yesterday. My aunt and uncle went back to get the keys and car and it turned out the $795 was only for the remote keys. No manual ones. The guy wanted to charge them even MORE for remote. The employee they were dealing with, Joseph Small proceeded to call my family members "liars" and "children", slammed doors in their faces and threatened to kick them out of the dealership. And HE is the Manager of Service Department? We WILL be calling corporate for the way my family was treated. No one deserves this kind of treatment. As someone who's had a Hyundai since for over 10 years, this is the worst establishment any of us have been to. We will NOT be coming back and will tell everyone to STAY AWAY from this establishment.

I found out about this dealership through an ad on Edmunds. I called on 4/28 to confirm that the used vehicle was in stock on and in their inventory. I was transferred to a Greg who was kind enough to confirm with me that the vehicle was in stock. I made an appointment with Greg for 4/29 at 9:30am and he stated that he would have the vehicle ready for me. I arrive at the dealership at my appointment time and get greeted and get my name and temp taken as per normal COVID guidelines. I immediately state that I have an appointment with Greg. I am then greeted by Ray who says he will be helping me today despite my appointment with Greg. Ray stated that Greg is only a B2C rep. First red flag. I sit down with Ray and he collects my information once again and asks me what I'm looking for. I explain that when I made an appointment with Greg I specified the model and confirmed it was in stock. I provide him the stock # from Edmunds and he looks it up in the system and says he will go get the car for a test drive. 5 minutes later he returns and stated he's really sorry but the vehicle was sold last night. I asked why I wasn't informed if I had an appointment to see this specific vehicle. All Ray could do was apologize and didn't offer any suggestion or solution. I traveled 2 hours today to see the car. I wasted time, gas, and mental energy to be completely disappointed. These tactics seems like old school dealer bait and switch just to get you in the door. Really disappointed that there are still dishonest businesses still using these methods that will never build lasting long term customer relationships. My trust for this dealership and for the Hyundai brand has been broken. Wouldn't even consider doing business with anyone associated with this business.

My family member had an appointment to see a vehicle that was CONFIRMED to be IN STOCK. He arrived at the location, only to be jerked around and told that the vehicle had sold the evening before. There was no call or contact made to update him. He drove two hours to the location to see the vehicle that he SPECIFICALLY was ready to purchase. This is absolutely ridiculous! I was slated to go in and see a meeting Santa Fe, but solely based on this interaction, both Hyundai as a Brand AND the "business", will not have me as a customer. Trust me folks, your dollar can be much better spent elsewhere. Go somewhere where the staff is professional and willing to help--when THEY dropped the ball, especially!

Very unprofessional, poor work ethics and a bunch of scammers. They help auto leasing companies commit fraud every day. My information was stolen and a car was taken off this dealerships lot and they are withholding information from an investigation and refuse to help cause they're hiding things! Do not buy a car from here!!!! The saleswoman put her hands on me and tried to fight me!!! She called me names and even followed me outside to continue harassing me! Everything about this place is a freaking SCAM!!!
