Update: upon additional research I have confirmed that Social Security and other government issued checks are to be made available the day after the funds are released proving once again they're a bunch of lying thieves and I have filed several complaints with various applicable federal and state governmental departments.
They're a bunch of lying thieves Claudia and Abu tricked me into setting up an account and depositing my social security check. I've spoken with the federal government and they said they cleared the funds while Cluadia, Abu, and the rest of Citizen as a company continue to lie to me about the state of my funds and refuse to give me the money that is rightfully mine. Don't belive a single word out of their mouths. Do not set up an account with these people and if you have an account close it immediately before they steal your money too. These people are absolutely evil and prey on low income New Yorkers.

Citizens Bank’s manager, Claudia, and her team are exceptional! I walked in to inquire how to open a new business account and had a new account with online, debit and ATM access in record time! Claudia and her lovely team made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed - and made the process as easy as possible for me. I am so happy to find financial partners who feel like friends to help me manage my business account! Thank you for such a great experience!

Went into this branch to obtain account details and the branch manager was incoherent, rude and smelled of alcohol, it was crazy! Walked out and cancelled our accounts immediately.

Frustrating and Aggravating!This branch is terrible. Customers service is the lowest I have ever experienced in my 30 years of banking. It reminds me of some 3rd world countries. The NEW Branch Manager Claudia Gil, is courteous, but absolutely CLUELESS and helpless! She is still "learning"!Do yourself a favor, Capital One and Citibank both have highly experienced managers on the same block!Citizens deserves ZERO stars!

I went to Citizens Bank in Williamsburg, earlier this week to open an account and met with the branch manager (Claudia). It was a shocking experience. She was rude, abrupt and slurring her words as if she had been drinking. I left very quickly. I have never had such a situation in a professional setting let alone a bank!

Long story short I have a chime banking account but my card number was used at this bank to take money out of my account and through my attempts to call and get this figured out as to how this is even possible they were no help. I have never used this bank before and don't know anyone associated with this bank this is terrible, I will never use this bank and the customer service was no service at all

I showed the branch manager multiple Ids and she still refused to give me money out of my account I dont want to call it a race thing but I feel like they thought i was doing fraud or something which I wasn't I will never use this location again. The worst part is today is my birthday and i lost my bank card and now thanks to her i have no funds and my birthday is ruined.

In June of this year I was supported by one of the managers of the bank after losing my wallet in Brooklyn. I was really stressed out, worried and anxious I was going to be without cash for the rest of my break. I think the person who helped me was called Arjumond and he spent around an hour making sure I could access my UK bank, helping me extract money from it and to go through the security. He was professional, friendly, courteous and to the point - he also helped me access my UK bank service to make sure security was completed. I was really impressed after a horrible twelve hours of anxiety, walking from Bushwick without any food or drink on a very humid day. He also offered me some candy which at the time was very welcome !! I was really impressed, credit to go where it is due - thank you.

Customer service leaves something to be desired. Staff knowledge of standard processes around something as simple as depositing a cheque is unacceptable and wasteful of customer time. Moreover the obstinance and rudeness of branch staff in dealing with customers is simply off-putting. To the brand manager - please investigate diversity training - had an incident where the same task was met with different outcomes, with the only difference being the ethnicity and gender of the customer.
