I walked in asking for help, I usually do my taxes myself. But, as this year the city payroll is down and has been for two weeks, I thought I should get guidance. The woman at the front desk, Elizabeth, was helpful and friendly. She indicated I could use my pay stubs and come back the following day. So I got my documents together and came back the following day. I explained the situation again, indicating I had come the previous day and confirmed that they could help. The women in front today (Saturday) refused to help. When I explained the situation they were immediately suspicious, using the words "supposedly" and "claims" to describe my situation to one another. I indicate it's in the news, named several outlets, and it isn't an individual situación. I could show the website, I said. So they could confirm, if they wanted to. They did not want to review my documents or verify what I said. "I don't work for Politico, I work for H and R block". Amazing. Thanks ladies.

I have been working with same person for about five years. She is friendly, thoroughly professional, and an excellent communicator. I intend to return to H&R Block as long as she works there.

Patricia was a godsend! She helped us through a particularly confusing year in taxes with residency changes and student loans, and maximized our return in less than an hour. She then took extra time to help rectify previous years tax issues and helped us contact the state directly to fix our issues. Beyond grateful for our neighborhood H&R block and Patricia!

I applied for my son's ITIN on January 2021. Three rejections and nobody in H&R knows what to do. Paid in advance for a tax return that never happened. When asking for the "refund" they wanted to avoid it sending over the documents again to IRS, so three months more and again.. "Rejected"
