My husband has been trying to get his child tax credit for 2 years. H&R Block deposited it in the wrong account. Every time he calls or go in person they give him the run around. I don't trust them. They always change agents.

I was impressed by the speed. I dropped the tax information off and state and government returned was done in about 4 hours. I came over the next day to finished the process.
I used to do my own taxes but don't feel up to it anymore. So I will most likely use HR Block for my tax filing for now own. Good work!

I waited 40 minutes for my appointment, no one at the branch acknowledged I was there. A CPA finally came out to tell me they can't take any more appointments today because some system is down? Not sure how true that was because they successfully completed an appointment before me. Regardless, assuming there was an IT issue, why not tell me and another customer who also waited 40 mins for their appointment? I would have been happy to leave and try again on another day, just be transparent if you’re having issues, but nothing. Staff did not acknowledge the voiced concerns from me and the other customer, seemed entirely uncaring about the wait and did not offer rescheduling options.Based on this experience I won't be using H&R Block tax services again.

This location seem sketchy like a front. I wouldn't trust any business that might be money laundering. People should record everything at any financial or court or medical institution. Otherwise you will be taken advantage of

Look let me say something I didn't write my review yet about H.R & Block. I had been very busy trying to do my taxes by myself, all right . I had contacted one of the offices of H R & Block around the city, and I had spoken with 3 persons ,by phone. The conversation I had there , who answered that inquire , I don't recall, that day. And the first Lady daisy, she couldn't help me, and transferred the call to another person. I explained Evy again , for what I need help with my taxes. After I had explained all what I was looking for help. And after I answered all the question , that lady told me they cannot help me, and I better find someone to help me, doing my taxes.. Maybe my returns is not that kind , they want to prepare, or something else, and the dont want to get involved to filed up . No problem, I move forward. And also I can give them, how many star's I want too give here. It's the second time I got disappointed with them.I wish them good luck and God Bless all of us...

I recently moved to New York and knew that I needed help with my taxes so I decided to file with H&R Black. Madou Guira was the professional who filed my taxes and I really enjoyed working with him. He was very though and explained everything to me. His services were efficient, accurate, and I would definitely go to him again.

Came in to do my taxes, never gotten help from a professional before. I was able to get excellent help and explanations on the different ways in which I could file without paying the heftiest prices (which is what happened when I tried to do my taxes mysef last year, since I had mostly 1099 NECs and had to pay taxes). Everything was done within an hour, and it was well worth the fee. I worked with Madou, who was excellent and very nice.
