every cashier i’ve encountered over the several times i’ve visited this store has been extremely rude. i recommend the management takes some time to discuss customer service with their team members

Yes it’s a family business with inflated markups, but every time I go I have an issue of prices being falsely represented depite being labeled with the wrong sticker or placement on the shelf to an increase ranging from $2-5 more at the register. They don’t price correct despite the shelf label being much less. It’s an embarrassing management situation.

I shop here quite often because it’s convenient and I primarily buy essentials like milk, bread, eggs, butter etc. Can be pricer than other places. Prices not always as marked. Weekly sales flyer not available in store and sale items not always marked down. Check expiration dates. No pets policy posted but not enforced. Rarely open on time. Extremely cold in summer/fall months. Unexpectedly nice cheese station and selection. Does carry some items and specialty brands that other supermarkets in area don’t carry but are really good. Haven’t experienced any issues with staff.

My experience is totally different at this place, I order online using (Mercado app). Thinking the I ll save time and money, turns out that the first time I order the app says my order is ready so I went to the store just to find out the no one make my order their excuse was I place the order at night and they didn’t see it, so I try to understand and I wait there for 20 minutes so they can make my order. “Second time I order same thing my order was not ready and the lady at the register told me the she doesn’t know anything to wait for the manager. So I told her I was going to came back later for her to call me when the order is ready. Last night I place and order 5 items for pick up next day which is today September 11th I went to get my order and again wasn’t ready and the lady at the register she’s no help at all she said the same thing from last time I don’t know talk to the manager so I ask for the manager, and she said he is not here come back later. But don’t have all day I have to work I have to pickup my children from school so I start it to make own order which I paid them to be made at certain time at certain day. So I’m taking 10 minutes writing this review so more people don’t place orders here because they are just going to waist your time…. Oh by the way the lady at the register she’s nasty disrespectful

I live in the building behind them. They installed an industrial cooling unit that’s so noisy. We can’t open the windows for fresh air!

Variety of fresh foods, cheeses, breads and beer/ciders. Assortment of healthy snacks , chocolates, licorice, cookies and chip. Regular grocery items also! Nice store tucked into the neighborhood

Update:Now my favorite thing to do is to shop for items and then correct them when they try to punch in the higher-priced version of something at the register. These f**kers will try and rob you blind.

Like several others have already mentioned this place loves to sell expired goods, and I don’t mean a day or two, Im talking expiration dates that go back as far as last year. Fresh bread also seems to always be an issue here and I’ve coke across not only moldy bread on the shelf but ROACHES!The staff basically said they get first dibs on the fresh stuff when it’s delivered so we the paying customers are left with stale goods. When I mentioned the roaches they said “we know we’ll fix it” been in Brooklyn all my life and I’ve never seen roaches crawling on the bread, not even at the corner store!

Fair prices on certain tagged items. Mostly here for quick fruit and bread.
