“Excellent hotel with phenomenal staff. Rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. Fresh hot coffee available all day, breakfast was very good. The in house restaurant is very good, I had the salad with grilled chicken. And best of all the gym is great, dumbells up to 75lbs! Awesome stay.”

“I can’t share enough about how much my husband and I love our stays at The Wythe. We found ourselves alone this Christmas season and decided to book a two nights stay and because we loved it so much ended up adding a third night. We brought Martha, our pup too. The staff was BEYOND kind and attentive to us. The rooms (we stayed in one room the first two nights and a different because we decided to stay last minute night three) were spotless and beautifully decorated. Le Crocodile and the rooftop bar are not to be missed. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner with Le Crocodile. Located in a wonderful, walkable neighborhood. I say time and time again I can’t wait for my next stay at The Wythe. I recommend it to friends constantly.

Food & drinks: Le Crocodile and Bar Blondeau”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple of months ago and it really changed my perception about how much it matters where you stay on vacation.Every morning we had breakfast with other couples and people who all come from various walks of life. Each conversation was stellar and insightful. Not to mention our wonderfully spirited and kind host Randy who not only made sure we had a great stay, but gave us great life advice and has wisdom worth millions. We will never forget our experience! Hope to be back soon. :)”

“An excellent hotel option if you have access to Fort Hamilton. It is relatively close to JFK Airport and offers a good home base for excursions into Manhattan or other parts of Brooklyn. It also has a commissary, PX and Gas Station.”

“My stay at the Pointe Plaza Hotel was fantastic! The room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The location is great, in a quiet area but still close to public transportation, so getting around the city was easy. The hotel also had a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Highly recommend it for a pleasant and convenient stay in Brooklyn!”

“Labor Day weekend I stayed at the Even Hotel in Brooklyn and we loved it. Great location and it was clean and simplistic(which I love). Also had workout equipment in the room !
Want to commend both Monique and Tiffany at check in who were the sweetest and offered us a lot of assistance and information regarding getting around Brooklyn. Used to live in Brooklyn and plan to return in the spring and I will definitely be staying here again !

Walkability: LOTS of places of interest and restaurants are in walking distance.”

“Everything is good, except for the rumble of the railway outside the window... (IMHO, the noise level is outside environmental standards)+ From the windows of the 5th floor you can see the skyscrapers of Manhattan. The hotel is currently closed.”

“First time in a Pod Hotel, will return here often. Great location, staff and run very nice. Had everything needed for a last minute booking. Comfortable bed, AC worked well. I even enjoyed the shower, which is like an RV/Boat shower utilizing the toilet area. Smart design, overall I would recommend this to my family and friends.”

“I recently had the pleasure of encountering Eddie Brown, the security guard at 1 Hotel, and I must say, his exceptional service left a lasting impression on me. During a crucial meeting with a client at the hotel, I encountered an unexpected issue when a lady approached me, demanding that we lower my voice. Despite our efforts to conduct ourselves respectfully, her approach was rude and disrespectful. Thankfully, Eddie swiftly intervened with professionalism and tact. Not only did he handle the situation with grace, but he also went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Recognizing the injustice of the encounter, Eddie generously offered me a couple of complementary items as a gesture of goodwill. His kindness and understanding transformed what could have been a negative experience into a positive one. Eddie's dedication to customer service and his commitment to resolving conflicts with diplomacy and empathy truly set him apart. His actions exemplify the values of hospitality and excellence that define the 1 Hotel experience. I am grateful for Eddie's assistance and commend him for his outstanding service. He is undoubtedly an asset to the team at 1 Hotel, and I look forward to returning knowing that I will be in good hands with professionals like Eddie Brown.”

“I stayed here 4 years ago and rated the NU Hotel one star at that time. I returned last week due to the location and was pleasantly surprised by all the improvements they have made to the experience. The bathrobes and bath amenities as well as all day coffee and tea enhance the stay. The breakfast was a bit better as well. The staff were much mire friendly and accommodating than during my last stay. Yes, the construction going on in the vicinity is annoying to listen to, but it doesn't interrupt normal sleeping hours. My only sleep disturbance was having to listen to other guests slamming their bedroom doors. Perhaps the hotel could install soft close mechanisms or post a sign asking guests to close doors softly. The very low beds and very weak shower pressure are my only other critiques.”

“Great location very close to the subway. Affordable; NYC is never inexpensive so we found this hotel to be a good value. Very friendly staff; offered free baggage storage but they were able to check us in early. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. Our room was on the first floor overlooking a parking lot and was quiet at night. Continental breakfast offerings were good. We loved being in Brooklyn's Chinatown and will stay here again.

Walkability: Just a block off of busy Brooklyn Chinatown and the subway is just around the corner.”

“Very close to Metro 9th Avenue, beds very comfortable, rooms well equipped. Just keep in mind that if, for example, you are planning a day trip to Washington and want to leave your suitcases in the hotel for one night, you have to pick them up again the next day until the evening because the receptionist doesn't have the key. We had to wait until the next day for our suitcases. No problem for us as we stayed there in another room for another three days.”

“I just stayed there with my son. The rooms are spacious and clean. They are updated and nice. The free breakfast is amazing. They have several items to pick from it is fresh everyday. One of the employees named Shahedur had the best customer service and helped me was some issues we were having. He made our stay very good! Location is very good very close to restaurants and shopping. Thanks again Jennifer hoffer Wiseman”

“It has a big drawback in that the windows don't open, so there's no ventilation, but the staff were all the friendliest in the country, the breakfast was good, and I think it's the most perfect hotel among Brooklyn business(?) hotels. I was very satisfied. Especially the very friendly staff + refrigerator. There was no”

“My sister has stayed here close to a million times and recommended it to me. Decided to finally book for my 1 year anniversary/ my boyfriend's birthday. After reading these Yelp reviews, I was a little apprehensive but ultimately there were no issues! Booking through Expedia allowed me to get a free bottle of Prosecco on arrival. The room was larger than I anticipated, and larger than the rooms at nearby hotels. Everything was clean, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the views from the balcony were outstanding. Will be back!”

“I stayed at Brooklyn Way for the first time Aug 2018 along with my brother who had 2 rooms when we were having the funeral for our Dad. I'll definitely stay here again in the future. The staff was professional and accommodating and the Manager Shack went out of his way to be helpful. The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean and modern, the warm breakfast hit the spot (even for my athletic nephews), the location is convenient with the train and stores nearby. The only problem I had was extending my stay. The hotel was booked up!! “Nice place but the neighborhood is much different than what we’re used to. Parking can be very difficult although we lucked out and grabbed a spot literally three feet from the front door. That was super lucky. It’s about a ten minute walk to the subway. The room was the smallest we’ve ever been in with only a couple feet of space around the big soft king bed. Staff were very friendly and easy check-in/ checkout. There is a nice little bar area in the lobby.”

“Hotel was very clean, well maintained, and the staff was great. I stayed here for one night and it was exactly what I needed. I visit the city often, but rarely stay at hotels. I needed one that was close enough to Rockefeller, but not crazy on the price and this was the perfect one.”

“Traveled here on business. This was by far the worst hotel I’ve been to in my life. Crusty yellow stains on the blankets. Blood and semen stains behind the headboards. Hair on the towels. Black water damage coming from pipe on the ceiling. The lobby had to have been 90-100 degrees. Absolutely disgusting hotel. Made the staff switch my room after 15 mins of begging (they didn’t believe me). The second room was slightly better, but not by much.”

“We stayed for three nights, but the experience was terrible. The room has no workable power outlets, all loose and could hold you charger. Very old building with weird smell and flaked paints.
Most unfortunately, the customer service was very bad. We rented a car and had valet parking service, but at the end of our check out day, the employee took our car to train their employee and waited almost 45 minutes to get the car back.
I am telling you this because you will regret it staying in this hotel. Worst.

Walkability: You can walk around to get to some of the restaurants and interesting places.”
