Perfect location in the Downtown Brooklyn area. Near all the trains, walkable, so many stores and restaurants. Although the hotel restaurant, Black Walnut is terrific! Great food menu and cocktails. The bartenders are friendly and know what they’re doing! From management (Paul & Maura), front desk (Esteffanie & George) and restaurant staff, everyone is friendly and professional. You won’t regret staying here. I travel a lot for work and this is my go-to.Food & drinks: Black Walnut restaurant has great food and drinks. Staff are friendly and professional.

C+. My girlfriend and I checked out of 418 today after staying for 3 nights. The front desk staff was friendly and did give us an early check in. The room however was extremely dusty and throughout the duration of our stay our belongings have been covered in dust or some residue that came from who knows where. Breathing throughout the night was very difficult due to the amount of dust floating around inside the room. After checking out today we believe to have gotten some kind of respiratory infection coming from sleeping in the dusty room. Hopefully the front desk can address the issue and keep the rooms clean. The hotel staff did clean the first day but the amount of dust we found on our belongings after returning to said “cleaned room” was unbelievable. Other than that it was a nice hotel in a good location.

My stay at the Hilton Downtown Brooklyn was incredibly disappointing. Despite its reputation and pricing, the hotel fell short in several crucial areas. The WiFi barely worked, forcing me to find an alternative workspace, and the promised "faster WiFi" option was nonexistent. Basic amenities like the TV also failed to function properly. The rooms were outdated and unclean, in stark contrast to the modern lobby. Additionally, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, it was one of my poorest hotel experiences in years.

I stay here a lot for work. Everyone is phenomenal. The bar manager, Tor, has been incredibly welcoming - making this place feel more like a home away from home.Jorge, from the front desk, has gone out of his way to help me. He even found my laptop and helped me get it couriered to my job-site so I didn't miss a beat!

Great location. Within a few short blocks from the major subway lines. Safe property. George at the desk was great. Stored our luggage when we arrived and got us in a touch early. Requests for a steamer were done promptly!

I understand almost 500 a night is the going rate, but u should at least have a coffee bar. The room was way to hot. Way to much money for no extras for the customer. Stayed at a Hilton in canton Ohio. Paid half the price with better customer care.

We stayed here six nights. It was what you would expect from a luxury hotel. Breakfast is pricey for what it is, but it was good food. 711 is two blocks away. There are probably 500 restaurants within an easy walk.It was a really nice experience to be here.

A modern, well-maintained hotel in a prime location. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and extremely clean. So many hotel rooms have terrible air conditioning but this one kept us cool all night long as we slept. I'll definitely be staying here again and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Brooklyn

For the price you pay, the rooms are definitely not worth it in my opinion. It is a good hotel though and the location is great! There is a “resort” fee of $25 per night that you should be aware of. It barely covers breakfast for one person per night of stay. The rooms were clean and service was relatively decent barring one of the front desk ambassadors. All in all, if you’re not worried about price then it’s a good hotel.Food & drinks: Very expensive in house restaurant, bar and snacks.

My stay at the hotel was great. We had a 1 bedroom suite, which was spacious and clean. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it was nice to know that it was there if we wanted to use it.Check-in/out process was easy as well. We checked in online, used a digital room key and checked out online as well which was convenient. However, the only challenge with the digital key was that it didn't work on the elevator (which is needed to select your room floor) so we we still had to go to the front desk to get a card key.Nevertheless, when I'm back in BK, I will definitely stay there again.

I had a nice 2 night stay. Stephanie and Rick were awesome and took really good care of us. My room was as advertised. The information about breakfast on the website was misleading but the breakfast buffet, while pricey, was good.

My issue is with the customer service and ridiculous extra charges. Had a nice enough stay at the Hilton - rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice view and the lobby is welcoming. Upon check-in I was told that $225 would be charged to my credit card - $200 for incidentals in case of damages, and a $25 "urban credit" that would need to spent at the hotel bar otherwise I would be charged $25. I confirmed the 200 would come back + 25 I needed to spend and the front desk confirmed this. However upon receiving our final receipt I saw a $93 charge for THREE $25 credits. I called the hotel and was informed the $25 unnecessary credit/now fee was for EACH night stayed. I was explaining the situation to the front desk person who gave attitude and when asked how $75 becomes $93 he said "tax" with no other explanation. Turns out they also charged me for the $18 we did spend in an effort to use up the $25 we thought we needed to spend. So not only was I charged 3 hidden daily fees of $25 and taxes, they also charged me for the drink that was meant to negate one of these ridiculous charges. I asked about how the total added up to 18 in taxes and the desk person hung up on me. If you are going to create unnecessary charges then at least be up front and clear about them. Hanging up on a customer when I am clarifying a nonsense charge is truly obscene.

George was amazing he checked us in and anticipated our every need! Rooms on lower level near the elevator to accommodate the seniors, he explained the valet parking letting us know we had in/out access to our vehicle. He explained the Hilton honors gold member breakfast/points choice, George is perfect! Housekeeping was also great they didn’t bang down down before checkout time like some other hotels. Rooms were spacious and very clean elevators were clean and fast. Front desk staff kept a permanent smile on their faces and always alert and willing to answer any questions Overall experience was awesome! Please keep up the great work guys!Rooms: Spacious and very clean
