I’ve gotten some surprisingly poor results considering Griffin’s reputation.A good handful of rolls I’ve sent in over the past year came back with huge puncture marks on the last frame, basically ruining the photo (see examples). When I eventually asked the person at the front desk about them, she insisted that the damage is unavoidable in the loading process and that I should turn on some (nonexistent) setting on my camera to leave some space at the end of the roll. Not only does this setting not exist, but the fact that this damage only happens sometimes despite me using the same camera and film stock should indicate that the problem is likely in the way they’ve handled my film.It was disappointing that they couldn’t take responsibility for the damage and offer reassurance that it wouldn’t happen again. If I had an especially important roll I needed for personal or professional purposes, I definitely wouldn’t take the chance with Griffin again.

Highest quality, most professional service, and in Gowanus! They process and scan 120 film, color and b&w. Very easy FTP sharing. Great for professional and personal projects.

One of the best labs in New York. Quick turnarounds and good prices. I have not used their printing services yet but all the work they put out look amazing.
