Stopping in for a bottle of wine at this shop is always such a pleasant, fruitful experience. The people are so friendly and easy to talk to. They never fail to find something that ends up hitting the spot (despite my inability to clearly articulate what I want!).

The most extensive, imaginatively stocked, all-price-range wine shop, no contest--and not just in the Slope, but in New York City, period. It's so gorgeously curated, you literally cannot buy a bad bottle here, in any range. And it's staffed by the most unpretentious, deeply knowledgeable guys I've ever encountered in the city, which makes it a real pleasure to shop in person: There's just so much to learn from them. But you can also order for free delivery, always reliable and thoughtful.

This is the only place I get my wines and spirits. Not only because they’re a neighborhood staple, but because the selection is amazing and so are the people. They really consider the source when it comes to their stock and i’m always finding new and niche things to try. Prices are fair and accessible, and they’re really enthusiastic about everything on their shelves and everyone who comes in. Highly recommend!

A neighborhood staple and jewel. I consider it the best wine and spirit stores in New York. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They have great wines and spirits at every price point and there's always someone working with great recommendations. They tend to source from smaller, more interesting distilleries and vineyards. I've never been let down by their recommendations. They'll greet you with a warm welcome and always have treats on hand for your furry friends. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

I frequent Greenwood Grape & Still because the staff and selection are amazing. They give great guidance when exploring new options and are very friendly. It may be the best liquor store in Brooklyn!

Highly recommended stopping in. Greenwood Grape and Still is one of the best wine and spirit stores in the city. Contrary to the other reviews, I have found the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Everything they have on the shelves has been tasted by the owners, so the quality of the product is top notch. I have never had a bad wine or spirit from here, and the prices on the selection are also some of the best around town. A must visit if you are in the area and looking for a quality selection and experience.

This is a terrific neighborhood wine and spirit shop, one of the best I've had in any neighborhood in over three decades of living all around NYC, a real find. Carl and Andre are incredibly nice guys, and very passionate and knowledgeable about wine. This place is small, but well-curated, with a wide-range of prices for every occasion, and they are always happy to steer you to great choices within your budget. I often just ask them to tell me about what new wines they think I might particularly like, and I'm often pleasantly surprised at how well they remember my particular preferences. I'm not a huge spirit drinker but occasionally I buy spirits for parties or as gifts, and they always make great recommendations -- they tend to stock memorable or unusual spirits, often made by small distilleries, and they always know a lot about the bottles they carry. Always a friendly atmosphere, and they always find something to fit your tastes, your budget. It's also the place where if you'd like to know more about wine or spirits, they are very happy to share their knowledge -- this is a passion for them. If you want to go to a great local place with very knowledgeable staff, you can't go wrong with this place.

Great shop everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable of the product they sell. Their wines and champagnes are always amazing never had a bottle that I didn't like from this place. Keep it up guys

Amazing staff and a great selection of wine and spirits. They recommended a locally produced vodka that is my new favorite. They also stayed after closing so I could pick up my wallet that I carelessly left behind. You won't find a better place in the neighborhood!
