“i love this shop of thoughtfully-curated gifts. the cozy space feels whimsical & warm, and i always find lovely things here. + so excited they now have coffee!”
“Wonderful stationary/gift shop off 5th Ave! The staff at this location makes the visit worth it alone. I live in NJ, and was near the Bergen area, and was in the market for some small gifts. I much prefer this sort of establishment to a large big box retailer, not only due to the variety of product, but due to the locality and community aspects of the brand. Definitely stop by Annie’s Blue Ribbon General Store if you’re looking for a Brooklyn Gift Shop for cards or stationary needs in New York. Worth your time and money 5/5. Also they have a rewards program for $200, $500, and $1000 point accruals and a birthday reward.”

352 7th Ave, Brooklyn“Incredibly friendly staff! I bought a dresser from them after finding it on their site while moving and they held it for me until I could pick it up. The dresser was in great shape when picked up (all defects and dents were disclosed to me which some vintage stores do not do ahead of time) and I am super happy with it. I wish I had space for everything in their store. Will be going back for smaller items soon.”
“The most perfect little shop in PLG. Awesome Brooklyn has every type of little Knick knack you can desire but artisan and crafted with love. I've gotten the most luxurious candles, astronaut ice cream sandwiches, and handmade beanies at Awesome. The staff are always so lovely and know the stock well. The store is so welcoming and the window is always well decorated. The store is also a key part of the PLG community and hosts events. Awesome Brooklyn is a MUST VISIT in PLG.”

They SAVED my special day in so many ways by making the overall aesthetic of the room for my wedding vibrant, fun, and spectacular. “I’ve been looking for a store that would sell watch batteries and help with easy repairs and didn’t think there was one in Greenpoint. Was so happy to notice it walking around!”
“Brooklyn ARTery is my go-to source for gifts and crafty goods from/for the community. It's always fun to drop in and see what's new. And it's a special joy to discover what local artists have contributed their wares. From handmade origami gift boxes (by a precocious ten year old artisan) to more adult offerings (like jewelry, stationary, hand bags, etc), this small shop has just about everything you'll need for a nice, niche gift. Everyone who works here is really kind and helpful as well, so it's an all-around pleasant place. And special thanks to Julia for always being so kind and helpful--may your days be warm and sunny (but also I hope you find a winter sport to keep you entertained til summer rolls around again :o)”
“Absolutely obsessed with this store. Love everything from this company. Everything they make is such good quality and their store is so well curated. It is an absolute pleasure to visit and shop. I Can honestly source my entire life from their two shops next to one another and be completely happy.”
“Such wonderful customer service, and some really cute gifts and things for any occasion! Please shop here if you can- small businesses like these are what makes the city so special.”
“Good quality products. One stop shop for last minute gifts. A lot of unique merchandise. I noticed some local vendors which i love to support. Friendly service. Will be back. Ty”
“This shop full of knick knacks like scented candles, stationery, throw pillows, and any other tchotchke you can imagine is cute at first blush, but can also be considered the stuff-that-will-pile-up-in-your-junk-drawer-pile store. Everything is covered in pithy phrases and bright colors. My less cynical take is that if you're looking for a cute gift to get someone you don't know very well, like a colleague, this place will have you covered. This shop must do so well for white elephant and secret santa gift shopping or a place to get fun greeting cards any time of year. This wouldn't be a place I'd buy anything for myself though.”

132 N 5th St, Brooklyn“The staff is so incredibly helpful and honest. My daughter was Holiday shopping here and she had a $100 bill fall out of her wallet. She was heartbroken but when we went back they remembered her and asked her right away if she'd lost it. Thank you!”

Highly recommend a visit - every time I have a party coming up, or holiday, or birthday, I like to stop in to find something special. Wide selection of prices too and very friendly (and helpful!) staff.”
“I had a great experience here! I was so scared at first but Octavia helped me purchase an arrangement for my boyfriend. Aswell as for my mom. That fruit was a 10/10 definitely recommended! Period”
