Amazing! I just took the biohacker boot camp and left planning my next class! The teacher, Mike, was energetic and funny. He also clearly knew his stuff and translated complex materials in a simple way.

Stopped by recently for their Open House because I was in the area. I'm not a science person but I am interested in ideas and creativity. Many of the staff and presenters were passionate, friendly, and took the time to answer my questions. These presenters are working on all kinds of cool stuff (fibers for performance wear, biofoam for shoes, etc) and it's cool that so many young people are thinking about sustainability. It was neat to take a peek into their lab and see some cool stuff (like the glowing unicorn). They have some very interesting classes here and it's too bad I don't live in the area so I can sign up.

The Bio Hacker Bootcamp was fascinating. Best way to get your hands on experience in a lab and be introduced to bio engineering. The executive director, Mike Flannigan, went out of his way to help me catch up when I was late, and his passion for the material was what made the class top notch.

If you're in Brooklyn, New York and wanting to get into the construction industry this is the place to start within the same building, called New York Safety and Training. It's a first come/serve as in terms of the classes that are scheduled covering various subjects related to the construction industry via OSHA. The number one lesson comes down to safety in all aspects. The prices are fair and some can get expensive depending on what your goals are. But there's a discount upon returning to the school in continuing your construction educational goals. The teachers there are very knowledgeable as well as sharing their experiences of their craft. I recommend this school whether your quests may be as far as career change to making a fresh start being high school in particular. If you're serious, just be on time, pay attention, have fun but keep in mind safety first.
