The owners are wonderful. I always get the pre cut papaya, which is always fresh and very sweet. They are the best by far in the neighborhood hands down! .”

7404 3rd Avenue, Brooklyn“Such a friendly environment!! The only convenience store in the entire extended area that accepts credit card for purchases under five dollars. Convenient hours and fully stocked with groceries, drinks and snacks.”
“I love, love, love this produce market! Yes, even though they are remodeling right now, but they will be back sooner or later. In the meantime, K&Y Fruit and Veggie is owned by the same family. It's further down Court Street, and has a verrrry similar assortment and vibe. Anyway, back to the reasons I love this market: Quality is quite high; prices are very reasonable; and it's also nice to have the Asian sauces and condiments in the back, too. In all, a real service to the neighborhood. Could not have higher words of praise for any shop in the area.”

5724 5th Ave, Brooklyn“Amy’s has a great selection of fresh produce and fruits, as well as a varied selection of Mexican goods. Being open 24 hrs allows me to get part of my groceries done at any time. The space is small and cramped, but the selection and their business hours means I come back again and again. Staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful.”

5208 13th Ave, Brooklyn“My recent visit to this fruit store left me with a pleasant surprise - the watermelon I purchased was simply delightful! The vibrant green rind hinted at the succulent sweetness hidden within, and I couldn't wait to dig in.Cutting into the watermelon, I was greeted with a burst of freshness and a mouthwatering aroma. The flesh was perfectly ripe, boasting a rich, crimson hue and packed with juiciness. Each bite was a delightful symphony of sweet and slightly tangy flavors, making it a perfect treat for a hot summer day.The texture was spot on - crisp, firm, and not overly grainy. It felt like the fruit had been plucked at the peak of ripeness, ensuring a truly enjoyable eating experience. Plus, the watermelon's seeds were almost non-existent, allowing me to savor every bite without any interruptions. What impressed me the most was its overall freshness and quality. They have certainly chosen their watermelons with care, offering a product that stands out from the rest. It's evident that they prioritize providing their customers with top-notch produce. In conclusion, the watermelon from this fruit store was a delightful treat that exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a juicy and refreshing watermelon, I highly recommend giving this one a try. Happy fruit shopping!”
“Have surely tried "other" packed greens but this brand caught my eye with the promise of stays fresh longer... and it did. Found the romaine at Whole Foods and first thing I noticed is how nicely the leaves were placed in the package-- like they were resting on a cloud and packed by hands that care. For someone like me, looking for a convenient, not wasteful and not crazy priced way to enjoy fresh greens, this is it. Gotham Greens, you got me. Thanks. FYI: Hooked on the Romaine! Now it's time to branch out. I love it.”
“Great selection, courteous staff, always fresh, very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this fruit store. Beautiful fruit arrangements. Best of all they provide free delivery”

7402 5th Ave, Brooklyn“This is a great neighborhood fruit store. The produce is always fresh and they have some great deals and prices you can't beat ! The man that runs the register in the front of the store is very nice and makes you feel welcome in the market. Love having this place so close to home extremely convenient walking distance location for many people in the area because this area is terrible with parking so good to have a store you can just walk too.”

528 Gateway Dr, Brooklyn“Clean. Flow of store was good. They have you checking out and space over to side for you to bag your own stuff. Quick and easy. Great variety of products. Even found some shredded chicken that I like.”

302 86th St, Brooklyn“This place has great meat and produce the butcher was amazing and accommodating to my request of the kind of burger I needed he was kind and fast. The cashier Saqer was sooooo patient with customers, precise, and very friendly. Both of these gentlemen deserve a raise, they really care and it shows.”

678 Manhattan Ave, Brooklyn“Do support these hardworking people. Benjamin Thomas must have been having a bad day when he wrote his review of this store.Sung and her husband opened this store in 1979 and have been running it themselves ever since. This store is a local staple and should 100% be supported if you live in the neighborhood.Sung is super sweet and so helpful with anything you need, her husband not so much, deal with it. ?????”
“Best and freshest produce in the area. Always stop here first and then get any dry goods they don't carry across the way at royal foods or up the street at key foods. Great selection and always find something new to freshen up my grocery bag”
“Nice store & nice selection for what it is. It isn't the biggest store out there so it can' t be expected to carry everything and, yes, it's a bit more expensive. That said, just like any convenience store, it offers what you need and does so consistently and does it well. Appreciate them being there.”
7AM - 9PM
4720 3rd Ave, Brooklyn“best small business ever! the buffet is delicious, the people there are so friendly and welcoming, and the owner is the sweetest hardworking woman ive ever met, god bless her and maria’s produce!!”

35 Division Pl, Brooklyn“Quick in, quick out. These guys unload you pretty fast because it's on the street and they need to get you out of there so that you won't be there long blocking the street. It's very tricky getting in with some tight left turns. Be careful you dont hit any cars or light poles.”
“Great selection of fresh produce, spices, dried nuts and stuff, and basics you'd need for cooking. However, don't expect them to have the full selection that nearby Pomegranate has. For me personally, I thought it strange that they carried horseradish and other obscure radishes, but didn't carry cayenne peppers. For herbs, they carry tarragon, but not parsley or basil. There's tons of stuff in the back, but would love if they stocked more Asian inspired ingredients, such as miso paste, etc. Also, would stock flavored seltzer instead of plain seltzer.”
“I've been coming to the store for more than 15 years and I have never been disappointed. They have a very big selection of things; their fruit, vegetables are always fresh and always high-quality. The prices are good compared to all the other stores in this area they're actually pretty much cheaper. I definitely I definitely recommend this store for all your shopping needs.”
8AM - 8:30PM
1887 Nostrand Ave, Brooklyn“Best grocery store in the neighborhood, produce, organic, specialtyitems and they even have their own fish market. Only four stars because they are not always open when they claim to be; business hours vary from the ones posted.”
“**3.5 Stars**I live a few minutes from this store. I visit often when I am on my way to Target. They have tons of variety and produce at affordable prices. However, I would caution everyone to double check their items because sometimes, they sell rotten and moldy items at very very cheap prices to get rid of the stock. They also had pies that were supposed to be in the fridge outside on the sidewalk in the heat for $1.99 each. I also don't like they have a lunatic that yells "Deals, come check it out" a few times he has yelled that in my ear. I was very close to clocking this person. If you are very careful and do due diligence, you can definitely find a good deal here.”
“Great selection of fresh fruit. If you are buying one for a snack on the go, they will wash it up for you, too! Treat yourself to something tasty and eat it in the park.”
