It was a nice little store that sold odds and ends which looked handmade. The owners were really nice and inviting.

A friends birthday was coming up in Early January and I wanted to get a nice card for them. I had been keeping my eyes open for cards that might be work for me but they were always wrapped in plastic. One store mentioned that this is the way that their customers like to buy their cards - wrapped in plastic. I don't. I cycled past this place the other day and decided not to drop in. On December 31st, I went looking for a card since I needed to buy, write, and mail it off to my friend since their birthday was coming up soon and the letter has to go all the way to Vancouver, Canada. When I locked up my bicycle and tried to get into the shop it was locked. The owner came out to let me know they were closed for the day. I explained my predicament and they allowed me in to purchase a locally made card. Since they put the plastic sleeve on themselves they would remove it and reuse it on another card. Cool. I also bought a cool sticker for my friend. I appreciate the owner accomodating my needs and allowing me entrance when they were closed. They have a nice counter-culture vibe. #PlasticFreeLiving

one of my favorite places to buy gifts — all sorts of prints, cards, trinkets, and I think they usually have a rotating art gallery in the back!

I love the curated selection of items in this shop! You're always guaranteed a cool find, at a variety of prices, so there's something for everyone. From Here to Sunday manages to find things I don't see in any other shop, and they all carry a touch of whimsy and/or the absurd. It's like a treasure trove every time I go.

About five minutes into browsing at From Here to Sunday, I blurted out to the sweet sales associate that "Everything in here makes me feel so happy." And it's true! This adorable storefront contains art of all mediums -- accessories, garments, teas, pottery, and more. Whimsical NYC fruit magnets? Check. Stickers of Druid woodland cats? Absolutely. The PERFECT holiday cards for friends and loved ones? Yup. And it's surprisingly affordable -- there were some incredible prints in (so glad to see the artists' names were clearly labeled!) for $15-$20. There's so much local love here and so much awesome AAPI creative energy. I know I'll be back. Thank you to Anthony, who was so sweet (and rocking one of their great mushroom shirts) while I spent approximately a million years browsing the shop. A local gem!

This was my last stop as part of Gowanus Open Studios 2021. The space itself is like half art studio/half art trinket shop. When I went, they were featuring clay art from Japanese artist Miwa Neishi. Great space in a shop that's about 200x more adorable than a place in Gowanus has any right to be.
