Dr Caruso and her staff are an amazing team that treat you and your pet with concern, care and respect. You can feel the animal lovers they all are. They respond quickly to all calls and treat your pet emergencies promptly.

I scheduled an appointment for my 15 year old cat. She woke up and fell off the chair and had the shakes, and days later was walking sideways like a crab. I saw Dr. Caruso. Dr. C was professional, very, very focused, and showed compassion towards my cat. I was asked to sit on the side while I was asked direct questions about my cat's health and situation. As the vet listened, the responses were entered into the computer.
I was impressed by the vet's take-charge demeanor. After the exam, the vet's approach was more personal. The findings were explained and possible plans of actions were recommended.
At the end, the attentiveness brought tears to my eyes. My gut reaction was this was not like any other vet I have met as a pet owner trying to bamboozle dollars out of my pocket! (They take Care Credit.) I was also very satisfied with the charges. P.S. Appointments are made on line and you have to pay a deposit.
The staff at FFAH were wonderful. From the gentleman who escorted my cat to the examination room, to the friendly ladies at the reception desk. (I almost adopted a kitten named Tuxedo, that the receptionist surprised on me as I was viewing some bracelets in the counter. Lol.) I loved all the decor of cat/dog paraphernalia.
The Dr. Caruso called the next day to tell me my cat's bloodwork was good, and presented the next steps. So I will continue to work with Dr.C. to get my cat back to her best health. (Sorry, no photos.)

I accompanied a person to take their kitten. I liked it because they do everything so that they understand your language and the treatment of the animals is very good

I was recently blown away by the care and compassion of Faithful Friends Animal Hospital. We had an emergency situation and had been told no by other places. From the moment I called I was meet by kindness and compassion. The receptionist who answered the phone (Marvis?) listened and gave me clear instructions on what to do. They took the cat and several hours later the procedure had been done. When I went to pick her up the staff was super nice and the price was beyond reasonable. Not all heroes wear capes. Some of them wear scrubs and work at Faithful Friends Animal Hospital. Thank you for saving the day. ❤️

I went to three different vets and no one was able to help my dog. Faithful Friends was highly recommended by a friend. The receptionist was very understanding, listened to the issues my dog was experiencing and booked the appointment for the same day. There was no wait time and we were seen right away. Dr. Caruso diagnosed my dog in 5 minutes and treated her right away. She explained the treatment plan that will follow, answered all of my questions, went over the medical history and even explained the test results that were done at a different office. The prices are reasonable. I was very impressed with the care and compassion. My dog was relieved from pain the same day. They truly love animals and care for them. Thank you so much!!!!!

The worst customer service is I ever had. I called 10 times 10 times I was told to wait and they never accepted my call. I would not recommend this experience to anyone.

Faithful Friends is an amazing veterinarian office. They squeezed me in last minute when no one else would. Dr Caruso was very thorough and explained every step of the way what she was going to do. Ask my permission before she did it and was very gentle and patient with my pug. My Shelby was very nervous as most animals are at vet but by the time we left her tail was wagging and she was relaxed and calm. I HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you again

I brought my cat there to get spayed, she wound up opening her stitches so o took her back, the docter was chastising me like i was her kid. If it wasnt for my cat, i would have cirsed her out
From that day on my cat had to be taken to verg emergency 3 different times. They dont care about the animals, or the clients just their bottpmline.

I appreciate the low cost services the clinic offers for rescue groups and rescue individuals. That's the only reason I'm offering 2 stars instead of 1. I've had very little interaction directly with Dr. Caruso, but the rude treatment from the main office receptionist is inexcusable. When questions are asked about the condition or after care for the animal that was dropped off, there's an attitude of, "I don't have time for your questions" and "We're offering low cost services, don't bother me." The impatience and attitude expressed is degrading and negative. There's absolutely no reason not to treat customers in a friendly and patient manner. Most rescue professionals are unpaid for our work, very stressed trying to also juggle jobs, and also worried about the animals we rescue. As well, certain questions or requests regarding treatment that should be answered by the doctor are dismissively answered by the receptionist, when clearly the doctor should at least be consulted before answers are given. I won't go into specifics, as I may still need to use this clinic on occasion and would rather not give details that would reveal who I am. We all realize that it's valuable to have office staff who, through experience, know the procedures of your business, but I find it nothing short of shameful that a veterinarian has so little pride in the practice she has built that she would allow office staff to insult and offend the customers that I assume she would like to keep. Fortunately, there are now other low cost spay, neuter, and general vet care in places like Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition and Flatbush Cats. Their support staff is friendly and positive. I wonder if Dr. Caruso will read this and care that her clients are not being treated in a positive or appropriate way?
