I’m so happy that I went to Expert Appliance Center for repair of my Miele vacuum cleaner which needed a replacement on the hose connection to the machine. Alex, the manager, found the part needed and screwed in the part. Just $49 for the part and I’m all set to go. It turns out that Expert and Desco, my former store now closed, were the first authorized dealers in NYC. That history shows when Alex knew how to fix it and had the replacement part in stock. Other places I called just said the machine was too old and I should buy a new one when this machine was in perfect condition. Alex was so knowledgeable and helpful. Experience counts! Thanks so much, Alex!

The store pretends to be an authorized Miele repair location but when you go there with a Miele vacuum cleaner that is under warranty, he wants a thoroughly unauthorized $35 "surcharge". If he is dishonest about one thing, what confidence can one have in his general honesty?

Alex and Jose were both a pleasure to deal with! Very responsive, kind, and prompt. Jose quickly fixed our washing machine, and diagnosed the problem with our dishwasher, and gave us a short-term solution to continue using it while we waited for another party to come and repair it (as it was still under warranty). Highly recommended

The felt in our dryer tub had begun to come loose. Jose from Expert arrived on time, and not only replaced the felt, but found additional internal leaks of lint that had balled up inside the dryer. Experts cleaned everything out and now the dryer is working great again.

By far the best appliance repair and service company I have ever worked with. They were extremely responsive, took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue, as well as explain what was going on. We will definitely be using them for any other appliance issues in the future. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Can't say enough good things. Bought washer/dryer from them 3 years ago, and just bought a dishwasher from them as well. As the name implies, these guys are experts. Have consistently been given good advice, and never feels salesy. Installation and service has also been fast, on time, and exceedingly professional.

Don’t trust these guys. I made the error of ignoring my gut feeling. They sell refurbished old units as new and any issues they run fast and blame the manufacturer. Avoid at all cost.Yes they are convenient because they’re close. If you must purchase - get the serial number and check with manufacturer on the date it was manufactured and whether it is refurbished.Do not trust - verify.

I've bought two vacuums from Alex, and he recently sold me a Miele refrigerator and was able to get me a Bosch dishwasher that no one else was able to find, and at a better price. When the fridge arrived it had a (very, very small) dent in the door. It took a long time for him to source a replacement because of supply-chain issues, but he followed through. I highly recommend Expert Appliance for service and appliance sales.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! They will take your money without doing any work!!! Expert Appliance supposedly ordered an oven part in early July, said they’d be able to complete the job in August. I received no updates and followed up via my contractor early October (after no response when I emailed them earlier). They gave an ETA of 8 days, and when he followed up 2 weeks later, they said it will take another 30 days! They’ve taken my money for the “diagnostic” service that was supposed to be applied to the final bill. Since I won’t be using them for their poor service and lack of communication, I’ll be out the amount that was supposed to be applied AND a functioning oven for 4 months!!!! AVOID this place. I have not experience this level of unprofessionalism in awhile. HORRIBLE a customer service!!
