This tiny neighborhood shop is an awesome mix of inventive chocolates and candies handmade by the friendly owner himself, retro candies from your childhood, and funky rarer flavors of brand favorites. We turn into drooling children every time we go.

Such a cute store! Huge selection of candy, plus the display is very well thought out! They have tons of vintage and unique candy, collectables from movies like Harry Potter and games and TV shows as well. In additional to packaged candy, they sell fresh candies like chocolate covered oreos and different varieties of rice crispy treats like smores, fruity pebbles, etc. Great place for a sweet treat or gift!

This store is so special! I found out about it because Eugene generously supplies candy for the school library at his alma mater and my current college. There are so many unique types of candy here and some of them are seriously addictive

this place is so wonderful. it has a well curated collection of nostalgic candy as well as several delicious home made creations of the owner. and the year-round halloween theme is a fun unique touch. and finally, the owner eugene is a lovely guy to chat with and made us some great recommendations. so glad we found this place.

Eugene is the real deal. Truly a neighborhood staple and a gem! Stop in and try his signature candy FG Freaks and various chocolate covered creations (chocolate covered sour patch kids anyone?). My favorite spot when I lived in Bushwick—stopped in every week to learn about what he was dreaming up next. He’s passionate about what he does and it shows.

Definitely planning a revisit to this candy store! They have a great variety especially for sour candies which are harder and harder to find. They have great handmade goodies and I’m keeping my eyes open for their freaks candy which I am obsessed with trying!

I recently moved to Brooklyn and thought it was lacking in candy stores. After googling candy stores in Brooklyn, I knew I had to check this place out. I was very impressed when I wandered in to Eugene J. Candy co. They have all the necessities plus Halloween themed candy I hadn't seen anywhere else! I got everything I was looking for; nerds rope, laffy taffy, smartie candy necklaces and bracelets, sour punch straws, candy by weight, and they even have Rice Krispies treats from the crispery. The guy working at the counter was very kind and knowledgeable about the candy. He made recommendations that were very helpful. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves candy!
