Inaccurate website. Drove out 90 minutes for a bottle I ordered on their website but it was not available at pickup. Wouldn’t suggest ordering with them. People seem friendly though.

I like this place a lot and have been a loyal customer. I get what you guys are doing, a focus on local and smaller batch and I love that. BUT every time I find something I love, I never see it again. And in some categories, you don't carry anything at a lower price point or you're consistently out of stock of the affordable option.

Was walking to dinner and stumbled on this place. All around great staff. They gave comparable recommendations for bottles that weren't readily available. They also made arrangements for their second location to hold a bottle for me but I passed because it was out of my way. I was on the fence on a particular gin and the guys gave me a taste test...can't get any better than letting me sample before i buy. If you are in Greenpoint check them out!

My favorite local alcohol refill store! The people are super friendly and warm, always helpful. There is a great wine selection, always as well as rum and gin, and always great music playing. Plus if you register with them you get great discounts as a regular customer!

It's hard stopping in and not buy a few bottles of everything, every time. Their selection is unique, and their knowledge is unmatched. I never leave without being excited to trying something new. Dukes is the best.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Duke’s Liquor Box. The store itself had a decent selection of products, but the service I received from one particular person was unacceptable. I politely asked for a suggestion on a specific item, but the person responded with a condescending tone and an aggressive attitude when he realized I didn’t know how to exactly describe what I was looking for, since the liquor was a gift.I wish I never bought the liquor, but I was caught by surprise with the way he spoke to me. Won’t be giving them any business after that experience, unfortunately.

Anthony and John provide wonderful "everyman" counsel. They are approachable, down-to-earth, and well-versed on their portfolio. Anthony's wine knowledge and his synthesis of what he knows into Chuck Klosterman-esque detail is a delight. The guy incorporates music references into his description of the vinos, many of which are usually direct to high-end restaurants and/or vintages released rarely. A nuanced assembly of wine and spirit without being over-stimulating in an environ that is simultaneously intimate and open.

Amazing, out-of-the-ordinary, selection of liquor and wine. It can feel a bit overwhelming if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for, since they have so much to pick from. The good thing is that everyone there is always so willing to help and will give you a good range of recommendations.I always try to pick a new wine and 9 out of 10 times their recommendations are spot on.
