pharmacy keeps delaying my very necessary medication. dr sent them the prescription on a tuesday, i have to manually request them to fill it on a friday and they tell me it wont be ready until. monday. then it wont be ready until wednesday. i call and they tell me i can have a partial fill and pick it up the same day. i never get a notification and overnight receive an email saying my prescription wont be ready until thursday. i call again and they tell me they have no record of a partial fill.
Literally ALWAYS a problem with this place jesus christ

The staff at this pharmacy manage to display some degree of hostility and incompetence in every interaction I have with them. Multiple times, I’ve watched them stand and do nothing while the phone rings and a line of people waits at the window. Picking up my medication here is so unpleasant that I’ve started walking 20 extra minutes to go to the Walgreens in Greenpoint.

Absolute worst woman works at this pharmacy. Puts you on hold for over 55 minutes, and will keep picking up, saying nothing, and putting you back on hold. When she finally answers, she's rude & dismissive, and will say she doesn't have it & for ME to call them back (even though they should just fill it & alert me like every other pharmacy on earth) in a week. As most people know, that'll leave you with out medication for a bit with no idea of when you'll get it next. I wouldn't be writing this if it was the first time. This pharmacy is absolutely impossible. I see other reviews about her & don't understand how she still has a job. I wish the other Duane Reade didn't close down & leave us all with this joke of a pharmacy.

I now buy everything on amazon because I hate asking someone to unlock EVERY item I need to buy. What should be a 10 min trip to grab essentials can end up 3x as long as you have to ring a sales associate every time you need something because they have locked up almost every single item in the store. I feel like a burden on the staff and it is so annoying. Not to mention the psychic damage you take hearing “sales associate needed in the ____ department” every 15 seconds overhead. Can you imagine working there all day and having to hear that? I’d lose my mind.
The fear mongering over shoplifting is ridiculous. Corporate is just money hungry and doesn’t care about absolutely destroying the customer experience for the sake of saving a few extra bucks a year. Also the staff are clearly overworked and underpaid based on how miserable they all are. So sad this place ran king’s pharmacy out of the neighborhood. Save yourself and the staff the headache and order anything you can online.

The girls that work downstairs in the pharmacy or horrible, rude, lazy and won’t move a finger. Interestingly enough, the gentleman are kind and helpful - in my experience.

The worst pharmacy ever. Pharmacists and technicians are lazy and incompetent. When there is a long line they intentionally slow down. It’s like watching sloth work.

You would think it’s impossible to warrant a 1 star review for a pharmacy but this staff is special. Been going here for 2 years and they are awful and I’m finally going to write this because it’s not like I’m just catching an employee having a bad day.
Consistently they have a line 10 people deep in the morning because whoever is supposed to open shows up 30 minutes late.
The last 3 times I picked up my prescription they havnt been able to find it for 10-15 minutes. By the third time I knew what was happening, but the first two times the worker said absolutely nothing to me after I told them my name and prescription. They just let me stand there confused while they lazily walk to the back and look through random buckets and eventually had to ask them what was going on.
Frequently there will be 7-8 people standing behind the counter with only 1 person actually serving people. It makes no sense.
The whole staff looks miserable, mutters under their breath when speaking - I normally don’t judge people working repetitive jobs but holy cow.
Also they don’t answer the phone. It’s hard to provide this bad of service but they get it done.

Really awful pharmacy service. Staff that clearly have no interest in customer service in person, and multiple instances where pharmacy leave calls on hold for 30 minutes or more (despite actually needing to speak to a tech, not just machine prompts). Truly awful service.

The wait time is ridiculous, I wish I would have read reviews before sending my prescription here. It’s been almost an hour for simple antibiotics.

The manager at this store is conducting suspicious activity. I tried to report someone is stealing in aisle 7 but no one would help me. I was directed there by the Asian pharmacist to aisle 7 to buy soap. I saw a short black fellow who is 4 feet tall steal about six to eight bottles of shampoo and run. I reported it to the Asian lady who works at the pharmacy but she pretended not to listen. The black security guard was there but I think they are letting protestors steal stuff because of solidarity or something. I mentioned it to him and he just looked at me and smiled. The Asian lady seemed to be afraid because her coworker at the pharmacy was black and the security guard also, so she didn’t want to report it. The Manager hung up on me and didn’t connect me to the register or the pharmacy after three calls. He kept cutting me off even though I called at 6:45 which is not closing time. These people don’t seem to care about illegal activity but compromising customer safety is not right. I was there before 5:10 and spent 20 minutes or more. The thief was tiny and came in at about 5:18 was in and out in about two minutes or less. And there are other reviews like Amma who was stopped for shopping at 3am for being black for no good reason. So when I report an actual shoplifter they stare at me like it’s ‘business as usual’. This stop is only 5 minutes from manhattan but it might as well be jersey given the Sopranos style operation they are running.

I see so many negative reviews, but I want to make a positive review. Let me start off by saying this I was greeted by an employee name Stephanie, she was super helpful and attentive, great customer service. They need to have more people like Stephanie
