The ladies were very sweet and nice but I was not informed I would be charged an extra $10 for picking a longer lasting type of nail polish. Worse part is I picked two colors and got charged $10 for each! This is on top of an already $100 service without tip. I assume this is standard but I was not informed beforehand and felt blindsided at the end of my appointment. The pedicure setup is also not the most comfortable, and while she did do my manicure with a lot of care, I had to ask her to go over several spots on the side of my nails that she didn’t color and left me with a ton of cuticles showing. The ladies were really nice and the atmosphere is very cute but felt like my $139 payment did not match what I got.

Truly disappointed at this place, if you’re going to charge a premium of $36 at least hire people who know how to give a simple manicure. I took the train from Manhattan and had high hopes just because of other good reviews and boom I can’t even get a proper manicure. Waste of time and money just go to your local nail salon better off.

They greeted us right away and prepared the stations to take care of ua. They did not rush through the pedi or mani. We weee given full attention doe the entire process. The place is spotless. They used clean utensils for both the pedi and mani. My Technician did my mani exactly as I requested. Perfect!

I was in the neighborhood and had time before an event to get a manicure. The space is modern and clean. But, it’s hard to justify $37 for a manicure. I’ve had manicures at luxury resorts that cost less.
Cleanliness: Well kept nail salon with sanitized tools.

I’ve been to lunula a few times now and honestly always have the best time and finish with my nails looking FAB!
Great selection of non-toxic colours, skilled technicians and a really lovely, zen atmosphere.

Wonderful atmosphere easily accessible from the G train station but calm and tranquil vibes!
Great selection of non toxic polish!
Tina and my nail technician were so kind, attentive and awesome.

Very cute and the staff was amazing. I got a relaxation pedicure and the foot/calf massage was worth every penny. Felt like a great value for the level of service and the treatment. Would definitely go again!

Literally the best manicure i've ever received. If you want to get a manicure where you are relaxed the whole entire time and don't want to check your phone, this is the place. The vibe was so relaxing and the music will have you wanting to fall asleep. 10/10 recommended if you are in the Greenpoint area

Service was amazing. Pro tip get the dazzle dry it’s worth it! Marie knew exactly what she was doing. I loved their affordable non toxic specialty mani/pedis. If you go for the same old mani/pedi - getting a special add on makes you feel like a queen at that price.

What a great, clean, nontoxic nail salon in Greenpoint! I was able to get in last minute with ease for a manicure. I cannot recommend enough! The staff was kind, thoughtful, and I will definitely be back soon.

Taii does a quite literally flawless manicure, Jasmine is the most attentive and gracious host and you'll be shazamming the playlist. Lunula is a beautiful salon.
