I hate to have to write this but it is what it is... I came with a return two days later unworn with tags and I read the store policy which was included in the email... the owner absolutely refused to do a return which was acceptable in the policy and she was completely unreasonable only allowing for store credit which wouldn't suffice. I have been a frequent buyer in the boutique for years and have made several purchases l've had some hit or miss purchases but never in the past attempted to make a return... this time I was truly unhappy with my purchase and like any one else I wanted my money back instead of having an outfit I'll never wear in my closet... she adamantly refused... and made it seem like she's never had anyone in the last 10 years ask for a return... and if I had wanted store credit that's the only option. I refused. Because I rather at this point fight with the Bank and show proof than to take store credit from someone who's doing bad business. I took the loss upfront today than taking the store credit because it does not compare to the loss she has in me as a future customer all because she doesn't have ethical business integrity. It's a shame yes the clothes are cute it's always a great place to shop last minute but it's some where I'll never enter the doors through ever again. No matter how she tried to rationalize her refusing to do a return she is so hungry to hang on to my coins it'll be
the last purchase l'll ever make. Be forewarned. Just because you can swipe someone's card doesn't mean you should be able to hold someone's hard earned money hostage "just because". In good faith please don't do business with this woman. It's really a shame I do like to shop small but this really just put me into a tailspin of emotions because the right thing wasn't done. I’m going straight to the BBB. It makes me wonder why she chose not to return back my money.
In response to your reply… (owner) I have proof that I was within your own store policy none of my items were white, dresses, bags, shoes and the only pair of shades I accepted I wouldn’t be able to return but the other 3 tops were within your own policy and written in my email receipt… you wanted to adamantly refuse and make it seem as though your being accommodating but you don’t know if I suddenly had a financial hardship and needed to return the items the idea that I went back within 48 hours and received a hard no when I’m well within my right with unused items still with tags on them is your idea of doing “good business” is absurd. I work in bay ridge for years as a civil service employee two jobs one for the city and one for a local hospital you’ve literally seen me in the area. I am not just some random person I’ve frequented your shop many times if you thought I was not making the return from some erroneous reason that’s one thing but I came to the store in good faith and you clearly wanted to be cut throat about this just because my card was swiped. Girl yes I want my money back what’s the problem? I wanted to return unused items and get my hard earned money back but in your mind you sold your summer items and you just want to keep my money in your pocket really for what? I don’t want store credit after our interaction you clearly are not someone anyone should do business with because I swiped my card you can’t do a return? It’s in the email receipt you sent me that non of the items except the shades fell into “final sale” so see it with the bank see it with BBB see it with small claims your character is really the reason I don’t want store credit it’s the principal of the matter. You don’t need a personal explanation from me as to why I suddenly returned the items for all you know I had an emergency something came up but for you to just act like I’m not fighting this I’m sorry ma’am you could do the right thing but you keep choosing not to….

Cue's clothing selection is exceptional.. They carry beautiful quality items worth every penny. In comparison to other local boutiques, their prices are unbelievably reasonable. Cue has been a staple in the community for 15 years and is my go to store for every occasion. The people who work there are always pleasant and very welcoming especially the owner. They are very up to date with the latest fashions so you never know what you will find. I definitely recommend you give them a try.

Without a doubt every time I have an event of any sort to attend, I always find the right outfit here. Lyn is absolutely wonderful. Her advice on fashion is always spot on. The fashion selection is amazing. Great shopping experience.

I love this store. I was in search of black pants to go on a work trip last minute and when I realized they were closed, I started to walk away. Owner comes out of the shop.and says come in even though she was closed and found me the most perfect pair of black pants, I’ve shopped here numerous time‘s and everything I bought. I’ve always loved definitely my go to shop.

They don’t make stores like this anymore. I stopped in because I was in a rush and didn’t want to drive further . I was concerned that nothing would fit me bc I am no longer petite . The first dress I grabbed was ill fitting and the girls instantly helped me to find something that looked great , all while managing other customers. A truly wonderful experience and I highly recommend stopping in .

I think this place is fantastic. I recently stopped in and my experience was great . I read through a few comments and I'm going to assume that people don't appreciate the forward ness of the staff . The initial dress I tried on didn't fit well and the woman politely said that's not for you , let's find you something great and she did . She showed me a few options to narrow down my taste and than found me the perfect outfit . I'm a size 10 and was trying "Large" . I don't recommend if you're bigger than that but otherwise this place is great .

I've been looking for a New Years dress and happened to pass by so I stopped in. Everything in the store was beautiful, organized well and I was immediately greeted by a woman who I assume was the owner. As someone who is typically a larger size (xl) in clothing I was almost immediately met with defeat seeing everything was a small, medium or large. The woman who initially greeted me came over to help me. She encouraged me to try things on and although they didn't fit the way I wanted she now made it her mission to help me find something I was looking for. Something to feel good in. Not in a pushy, sales person way, but in a kind sweet way. As someone who is typically ignored in these types of stores it was so refreshing to be met with kindness. Although I didn't end up buying anything I left a little happier than when I started because of the encouragement from this woman. So I wanted to let it be known how thankful I was for this experience and I will be returning for some shoes, bags or jewelry in the future.

I bought a cute cardigan here awhile back, but every time I go in there, the staff and the owner can't seem to be bothered to acknowledge me or see if I need help. Also, most of the clothing/size selection is geared more towards those who are in need of going-out outfits and are a size 6 and smaller. We have several clothing boutiques in the Bay Ridge neighborhood with much friendlier staff and a more diverse clothing selection - I'd rather patronize those businesses.

Was walking by with wife and they were putting out "Summer clearance" racks and most items were $10. Wife found a pair of shorts and tried them on inside (with mask). Staff is nice and seems like a good selection. (for as much as I know about that stuff) Happy to have this little shop in the neighborhood.
