Cloth wins as my favorite boutique! Zoe, the owner, has fantastic taste and makes wonderful, unexpected recommendations. I really enjoy the staff and other customers. Also, the beautiful, special found objects and jewelry make fabulous gifts.

I have been going to Cloth for over 20 years. Zoe has an incredible eye for stylish and comfortable clothes that are high quality. The clothes last and LAST. I also appreciate what a good salesperson she is. Won’t rush you, always gives an honest opinion, she helps me step outside my comfort zone. Someone else said it well — the best boutique in Brooklyn!

I have been coming here for many years to do birthday and holiday shopping for my wife, relatives, and friends; I keep coming back because the jewelry are wonderfully distinctive, unique, and varied in style, and the clothes are lovingly selected, beautiful, and made from rich fabrics. In addition to the clothes and jewelry, one can pick up accessories such as hats, scarves, belts, bags, and shoes with the same quality. The stock changes regularly, so subsequent visits may yield new finds. And when the gift doesn't fit or just does not look good after being tried on, the owner is happy to exchange for another size, color, or just something different -- I do admit to using this to my advantage when I can't decide what to purchase for a gift, and aim for "just close enough" so the recipient can use the store credit for some shopping fun. I have even been able to jewelry repaired, something I was particularly happy about because the broken piece was one of my wife's favorites.

As a resident of the block, I've been a fan of Cloth for years -- whether it is holiday shopping or birthday gifts for family and friends, I can always find something delightful in the store. The store has anchored our block community and the owner has always been helpful, serving on the block association and supporting clean up efforts and fundraising for many, many years. It's a neighborhood treasure!

It's so hard to find a store you fall in love with right away. Yet here, in Fort Greene, one such store exists. An amazing selection of womens clothing some awesome house items too and such a warm and inviting staff. I live shopping here for my family and friends. Unique and well thought out this is the store!

I popped into this little boutique while running errands. I remembered seeing it online but couldn't remember what kinds of clothes were on offer. The owner was really friendly. I entered the store 30 minutes to closing and stayed a bit after closing time but she never rushed me. There was another shopper in there as well who was also taking her time. I purchased 3 tops for the summer and excited to have this in my new neighborhood. Will definitely be back.
